But at least it's something I guess. Speaking of which, shouldn't their be a presser transcript or something soon? I haven't seen one in a while.

The answer he gave about being a coach of sorts and engaging in knowledge transfer with the younger guys is interesting because I think this is another thing that goes back to the culture around the program now. The staff fosters leadership skills and we are putting some great leaders out there - the offensive line has some good teachers in Schofield and Lewan.

I share your frustration!
I was on Youtube yesterday searching for Michigan football videos (just like any other day) and I decided yesterday that I wanted to watch practice videos. The problem with that is THEY PRACTICALLY DONT EXIST! Do you understand how upsetting it is to search "Michigan Football Practice" and get nothing but Staee All Access videos. To make matters worse, Ohio has their own All Access series as well. So both Staee & Ohio provide in depth looks into the program, coaches, practices, etc. 8/14/2013 marks the first time I have ever enveyed either of those schools for any reason. As you can see, i'm still recovering from last night's Youtube journey :-(

I'm glad we didn't have to find out but I think he would have been a competent left tackle this year. For all the criticism that RR deserves when it comes to OL recruting, he hit big on those two tackles in 2009. It's really scarry to think what this line would have been like the past few years without them.
We're much better prepared to absorb their losses next year but I'm still very curious to see how the depth chart plays out. I'm not sure we have the plug and play LT replacement but the continuing buzz about Braden's athleticism is encouraging. I think he'll spend a year at LG and then kick out to tackle. A lot could / will change over the next year but here's my best guess at next year's line with David Dawson in the "6'th man" role.
LT - Braden
LG - Bosch
C - Kugler
RG - Kalis
RT - Magnuson

Off topic, but I'm hearing through the grapevine that Devin Gardner will wear #98 this season.

Had a few classes with Mike in college...great guy. It's nice to see him get some press. Hopefully he can continue to improve and end up getting drafted next year. Does anyone know the last time Michigan had two tackles both get drafted in the same year?

Unfortunately, that's an easy one... Jeff Backus (Rd. 1) and Maurice Williams (Rd. 2) in 2001. Only two other tackles total have been drafted since (Tony Pape and Jake Long)

Thanks. It's sad/hard to believe in the past decade only 2 tackles have been drafted
