I made Crisler in Minecraft! I am the one who made Michigan Stadium (2 expansion concepts, and a roof concept), and Yost Ice Arena before. Here are some links. Photo of Crisler in the comments.

It's larger than ever.  Streamers make good money playing it.  Merchandise is everywhere.  Expansions to the original sandbox have been steady and creators are allowed to sell original content in game (Similar to Roblocks).  In 2020 Microsoft reported 415 million revenue just from Minecraft game sales.  The game itself has been purchased over 200 million times and in China where it's free, downloaded over 400 million times.  Minecraft Dungeons (A loot crawler game) is wildly successful as well.  In 2020 Microsoft boasted 131 million monthly active users in Minecraft.  Microsoft bought the game for 2.5 billion.  I can't find any data to show how much has been made from merchandise, but I can tell you my daughter will always buy a Minecraft shirt over pretty much any other.  She mixes in Animal Crossing and Pokemon every now and then.
