I was watching him for every play he was on the field for. He played amazingly! My favorite 2011 recruit.

Didn't look like a true freshman out there. He'll be a star.

Super proud of him, especially since he's my neighbor in South Quad :)

B-Co looks like the player everyone was hyping during the offseason. He needs to keep it up.

Countess was impressive. He was solid in coverage and was a sound tackler. Mark me down as impressed.

He looked better than the starters to me. This guy is for real.
Disclaimer: I'm not much of an expert when it comes to DBs.

Not only happy with the freshman, but happy with the entire defense. They'll playing much better than expected, coming up with big stops and committing few penalties. Imagine how strong our D will be in a few years...

Not only is the defense visibly improving game to game we seem to be developing some depth at the same time. Countess played really well today, Morgan got quite a bit of time and Ryan has emerged as an obvious starter. I didn't notice Campbell as much but he blew up thier guard on one of those third and short stops. Feeling great about the defense.

I loved the nasty streak he showed.
think about it.

He looked very good in the 2nd half and had seven tackles. Just after he entered the game SDSU threw to his side. He stood strong and made some nice plays. WR's made a few catches but did not have many YAC. Played very well for a freshman. What happened to Woolfolk. Don't think I saw him in 2nd half and surely not in the 4th qtr.

Looked great in coverage and tackling. I thought his tackling might be a weak spot, but he showed well there today. I also loved his aggression and swagger, particularly on the play where he defended a completion pretty well over the middle and continued to try to pry the ball loose from the receiver's hands even after the play was dead.

He covered his recievers like glue, he did an amazing job for a true freshman.

He gave me a chub. Like the aggressive move to get the ball. Met his dad and him at the spring game in the breakfast room at our hotel. Very nice people.
