Two things that stood out: 1. Darboh is going to be a really good receiver. 2. It appears that the wings on the helmet are in-fact more maize than highlighter this year. The contrast between the wings and the color of the numbers is quite noticeable.

We had four distinctly different colors - the helmet wings, the numbers on the helmets, the numbers on the jersey, and the pants.  You could really see it on a bright but cloudy/hazy day like the Purdue game that year.

I don't care what tint of maize they pick, but for god sakes, is it too much to ask that everything matches?  Even my Jr High School football hand-me-down-from-a-dissolved-High-School uni managed to match.  Shouldn't the "Winningest program of all time" have enough clout to get the suppliers to make everything match?

I was thinking this morning that in a couple years when you have Darboh, Harris, Canteen, Ways and Cole available, they will be hard for any DB unit to cover. Not to mention Butt, Bunting and Clark at TE.

I would lend him one or two of mine, but being that I am 5'9" and he is a bit over 6', I believe, my shirts would end up being possibly the first Michigan golf chemise (or camisole - I can never remember which is which) on Karsch. In any case, a generous thought indeed.

As for a general note on the video, I maintain that losing Darboh last year cut deeper than we might have first appreciated, so I am definitely glad to see him out there and with a chance to get some serious time in.

Is a chemise like a half shirt or belly shirt or something? And how does a football blogger know the correct fashion term for such things?!? Geesh, next your going to tell me you put your car in something other than a car hole..... Down to 12 days? Gettin' real close. Go Blue!!

Does anyone know how many returning players Penn State is bringing back this year? Specifically along the o-line I was looking at their depth chart and they have some big boys on the line this year.

Edit: Sorry. I figured someone wouldn't be able to resist a downvote, but I didn't know where I should ask. I figured the latest thread would be a good choice since it will have some traffic. Not really trying to thread jack. Just hoping to get pointed in a direction to find some penn st. info.

and I'm trying to compare it to the depth chart from a year ago to see who are the returning starters, but it seems as if the depth chart has only one individual (RT Andrew Nelson) is a first year player (he looks like he was a RS last year).  Link:  http://grfx.cstv.com/photos/schools/psu/sports/m-footbl/auto_pdf/2014-15/depth_chart_non_event/depthchart_July_24_2014.pdf

Thank You.

It seems they have a very vetern defense also. Really hoping to win this game. We have a lot going for us..night Game at HOME, wanting revenge from last year, possibly undefeated.

Could be a huge victory, as I think we will both be ranked and have no losses.

I look forward to Darboh, Canteen and company, taking advantage of the coverages that will slant toward Funch. I'm hoping Darboh is in the mold of another Iowa recruit, Adrian Arrington.

Wow, did Darboh look great in that video!! That super long deep pass from Gardner was nice too. I'm so happy for Darboh that he seems recovered and ready to go.
