Tay Odoms is my favorite current player but I would still rather see Matthews catch punts and take a knee than muff, muff, muff, TD, muff from Odoms again.

and say that he won't have the fumbling problems he did last year, simply due to the fact that he won't be playing 70-80 offensive snaps a game as the only true slot receiver on the roster. He's got Roundtree, T-Rob, Gallon and Grady to rotate with him, which will make him fresher on every play he's in there, helping his concentration. Remember, he was a true freshman last year, and was the only option. Keep that TD against Purdue in your minds, the special teams will be improved this year (from catching, to blocking on returns), and because of that the returners will have much better years.

If odoms has probems securing punts there are a stable of guys behind him to pick up the position. I truly think that he is extreamly elusive and will have the spot to lose on Sep 5. I will also be interested to see Gallon back there a few times. I really think that he can be special with the ball in his hands.

I loved the Notre Dame quote. Odoms seems like a good guy, I'm hoping he can have another solid year and give us a viable return man.
