Corners
Does anyone else but me get pissed off every time they see our corners giving receivers a 10 yard cushion? I mean come on i saw a few times against purdue 2nd or 3rd down and 5-6 to go and morgan freakin trent gives the guy a 12 yard cushion. What the hell??!! He has to be the most overrated corner imo. I dont see why they dont play bump and run or at least only give a 5 yard cushion. Its not like they are slow and cant run w/ any receiver. I think Donovan Warren plays great at corner, i think hes a lot better than trent. Though he does have some stupid penalties once in a while. Seeing him at safety, i think that he will probably end up there for good if he keeps playing well. And i thought he did a great job there saturday. Why would they do this, well obviously to get boo boo in at corner for next year. The kids got talent, hes just needs a little more coaching and hes gonna be a good one. Hes also listed behind donovan warren on the depth chart, i think he shoulda been behind trent and woolfolk behind warren. oh well tho just wanted to see what you guys thought.

You can't give a 10 yard cushion on 2nd and 5. But thats on the coaches, right?

to play bump and run....and then Golden Tate happened.
But, yes, I HATE the ten yard cushion in general.

A play that has happened at least 4 times this year: WR beats Donavan Warren's bump and run coverage, runs a slant towards the middle, and break's Warren's tackle. Stevie Brown, crashing down to make the play, also misses the tackle flying by.
So yeah, more tight coverage please.

Look I'm no football coach, but it seems to me that a 10 yard cushion on 2nd or 3rd and 5 is just giving up a first down.
