Michigan steamrolled west virginia 16-3 last night in the first round, UPSET the #1 nationally ranked ohio buckeyes in columbus 12-5 earlier today. And in the championship game, Michigan just beat pittsburgh 8-6 to win their second straight WCLL crown.
They get the automatic bid to the WCLA Tournament in Colorado Springs.
Congrats ladies!
Congrats.
They're a club team so no.
Time to start giving the Wildcats a run for their money! That would be Northwestern Wildcats for those not in the know; the Lady Wildcats have a dynasty going on in the sport, winning 6 out of the last 7 NCAA championships.
The head coach at Northwestern, Kelly Hiller, rebuilt that team when she arrived there. Great to see a dominat power in lacrosse outside of the east coast.
