Has there ever been any inclination that Woodson is interested in coaching? No. Yet every time there's a thread about Woodson, there's the "I wish they would have hired him to coach."

When you look at the staff Harbaugh has assembled, with the coaching experience and pedigree they all have, where does Woodson fit in?

They have God given talent and didn't need to learn a lot of the fundamentals.

The really good players that worked hard on their fundamentals make better coaches because they can teach what they learned.  The good players that get passes up early in their pro careers switch to coaching at an earlier age and have a better chance to rise to higher coaching levels as they gain more experience.

Ditto this. In my experience the best coaches are the average players that were able to squeeze every ounce of ability out of themselves due to learning technique and strategies, and who are also good communicators. Doesn't mean they players with God given talent can't be good coaches, but IMHO the best are the guys that can relate to the players with average talent, say "I was just like you when I was a player but this is what I learned..." and coach them up.
