nice!
Congrats to Cam! Not often you see a long snapper drafted, but I know he is a good one.
Matt Rhule doesn't know how to pick a long snapper. Cheeseman dwarfs the alabama snapper that went to the Panthers. More revs on the snap like Rece Davis just said.
Yeah, it seems like the Panthers' draft in general has been pretty puzzling. I'll be the first one to say, I wouldn't know where to begin when it comes to evaluating long snappers, but what's not surprising is the Panthers made an ill-advised pick.
Would have been nice to have been drafted by the Packers.
He would undoubtedly carry on the legacy left by Rob Davis and Brett Goode. Hunter Bradley, a 2018 draft pick, is holding his own, though. Mason Crosby makes lots of snappers look good.
For sure, would have been a fan favorite in Green Bay.
Cheeseman for the Cheeseheads?
Hasn’t been mentioned yet but he had a good advisor.
...I heard they were long-deceased octogenarian twins. Some sort of seance type deal.
Who is advising Cam Cheeseman? He seems like such a good kid but I don’t understand why he left or at least why he didn’t transfer ? I feel like these kids get such bad advice. He could have been a 5th rounder.
Gouda for him! I hope he has a Muenster career!
Blue Cheese(man)
Wasn't Trey Smith the #1 overall player on ESPN's recruiting rankings? Crazy to see him go one pick behind a long snapper.
