Good deal for Louisville, though I'm not sure if they're positioned to be much better long term than what they were under Bobby Petrino. Probably a higher ceiling than Purdue, though.

Congrats to him. He did a great job at Purdue and, hopefully, he'll do the same at LouisVILEe

We beat Purdue so bad their coach quit!

I get he is innovative (on offense), but he seems like an a-hole to me. Sideline demeanor and all. Happy trails!

I just came here to make fun of the OP misspelling Louisville. #Mgoblog'd

Great coach, did more with less. Even with the west being as bad as it is, Purdue winning it was no small feat. And now was the perfect time for him to jump because there's no way they'll ever win it again. Iowa is pretty much a lock next year with Cade, then USC and UCLA arrive and Rhule and Fickell will probably be competing by then..

The two best fits for Purdue if you ask me: Willie Fritz and Brian Hartline. Offensive innovators that will make opposing defenses switch gears entirely for Purdue week.

Hart line can go back and knock off OSU a few times

Sucks for Purdue. They are arguably the most likable non-Michigan team in the conference and I usually root for them most weeks.

Watch them go grab Brees off of the couch

I'd offer him an OC job if I was hired to succeed Brohm. It would be a huge boost for recruiting, especially QB's, and he's been around football enough to know how to call plays.
