A brief respite

I had bad dreams last night, filled with turmoil and angst from the whole opponent-scouting business. I woke to find that my go-to site for all full UM games had posted the UM/msu game, and I wanted to share it with others who might also need a glimpse of sunshine.

That’s the link, scroll down til you see the “play” arrow on the photo as shown below, don’t click on the “start” button above it or the “#2 watch” button below, those are both ads.

Don't let J__ S________ win. I can only assume that the info about his personal involvement disappeared because our beloved blog was threatened. But until he recuses himself from all this, his conflict of interest needs to be as famous and publicly identified with this as Harbaugh's. If coach didn't know a rule was being broken, and the exactness of his statement leads me to believe that's the case, S________ is actually more connected to the story than coach is.

And that's all it is for now, a story. Don't let it run (or ruin) your life.

Edit: Thank you, Casco Goat, for pointing me to the sticky. I understand Seth's concern, but I don't think there's any more likelihood of someone taking matters into their hands against him than there is against Stalions or even Harbaugh. So I guess put me down for one of those who think that he should be famously connected to the story. If blog authors don't want that fame to come from here, that's completely their prerogative. Let it be somewhere else.

Back to my main point. Yes, Michigan vs everybody! Or rather, Michigan vs the guy who wants it to be everybody vs Michigan! He doesn't like Michigan; he doesn't like Harbaugh; and, he doesn't like you for liking Michigan and liking Harbaugh. Fair enough. I'm looking forward to a PSU game that he won't like, then an OSU game that he won't like, then a BTC that he won't like, then a CFP that he won't like, then an NFL draft that he won't like, then a reloaded team that he won't like, then another great season that he won't like.

And beyond this post, I likely won't even be thinking of him, except whenever this story comes up, and I think—"Oh yeah, that's the JS thing" (not the Jim Harbaugh thing).

SIGH.... Just when I thought BPONE was in the rear view mirror.

I'm gonna try my best to enjoy the rest of the season, but there's a cloud over it for me.

I kinda feel bad for the players...

Simon and Garfunkel in my head.... "Hello darkness, my old friend..."

I don't have troubling dreams at all. Just enjoy what these young men are doing and this special season that they're having.

Brian's front page article is spot on and should bring a measure of level-headedness to your response.

I thought about starting a thread, but I didn't think it was thread worthy.  I live in Cleveland, and here is the general consensus from opposing sports talk radio the last 24hrs:  Shoulder shrugs mixed with eye rolls.

Ken Carman/Anthony Lima show-  Lima is an OSU grad, typical buckeye honk, hates Michigan with a passion.  He started the show with basically, "who cares, everyone is doing this, and if you think your signs are being stolen it's on you to change your signs."

Tony Rizzo show-  Shoulder shrug, everyone is doing this.

Dustin Fox (former buckeye CB) does a show with Nick Wilson-  Fox just rolled his eyes, Nick Wilson said anyone who's taking a victory lap over this, or who thinks this is the reason Ohio State lost the last 2 years is brain dead, and you're embarrassing yourselves.  Nick Wilson went even further to say it's obvious that the NCAA misses all of the nonsense power they used to have, and they have a vendetta against a man who has routinely embarrassed them.

The only people who actually care about this are the typical mouth breather fans who are upset that they've steamrolled the last two years, and that steaming pile of afterbirth on 97.1.

This was orchestrated to be a distraction because there's a pussy in Columbus who's terrified of losing again.  You know, the kind of guy who rolls out an embarrassing fake tough guy routine to 90 year old man.

This team is on a mission, and I'm going to enjoy every second of it.
