Brian on WTKA

Fellow MGBloggers: What's the current status of Brian appearing on WTKA? I thought he normally appeared on the Michigan Insider on Thursday mornings. I live in Chicago and usually listen to the podcasts on Thursdays to hear Brian, but it seems things have been a bit helter-skelter lately. Does he have a new, set schedule? Also, I did a search and checked this post before posting this: http://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/brian-wtka-thursday-only Anyway, I am just wondering if there is a dedicated timeslot on WTKA for Brian. I know sometimes he's on Monday evenings as well. Also, am I the only one who wishes there was a dedicated spot somewhere on the blog's front page to give notice as to when Brian's going to be on the radio (or tv/podcast/other form of media)? Just a thought. Would appreciate any help on this, and sorry if I'm cluttering up the board; I just don't want to miss any content from our esteemed proprietor.

I think your best bet would be to e-mail Ira Weintraub at the station. He is the program director and will be able to give you information on upcoming dates and times. That's what I did in the past. The only e-mail address I had (and used) was [email protected].

He was on this morning, as he usually is during the 9 o'clock hour. I went into work late last week so I am not sure if he was or was not on last week, but he was supposed to be going to VEGAS BABY, so I would assume he was not on last week. Other than that, his thursday schedule has been pretty solid.

It really sucks that Brian isn't on, on Mondays. I can't stand any of the other afternoon lineups. Ratty and Copey just yell over each other about stupid crap. Defran drinks haterade by the gallon. Jim and Al are like listening to George Costanza's parents argue about drafty booths in restaurants. Either get Brian back in there, or bring back Fithian.
