Brandon Peters update

Submitted by BlueCube on

He had 250 yards passing and 2 touchdowns last night to lead Avon to a 36-14 victory. He also had a rushing touchdown.

There is nothing about passing attempts or completions in the article but he hit Andrew Griffin for 11 passes for 144 yards.

Edit:  Streetchemist noted below that he was 21 of 30.

I don't even know that we need the bicycle - just threaten to put that nightmare in the photo up there and I would think that a great deal of the folks here might be willing to open discussions on curbing the use of that particular meme. After all, we should give the NFL media some room to come up with new material in the second half of their quest - the quest to get enough rumors out there with sufficient traction that people begin to believe that Harbaugh might go back to the NFL.

I say it's a great update and everyone thinks he threw for 650 yards and 10 touchdowns and are disappointed it's only 250 and two touchdowns.

I think if you are interested in a Brandon Peters update you will find the answer in a couple seconds if you click on it. You may want to have someone look into this pessimistic attitude however.

True, but isn't LSU is like his only other bog time blue chip offer. Most are from the Iowa, UW, Purdue, Louisville type range. Plus Harbaugh recruited him and got a commitment long before he started to shoot up the rankings from solid summer camps and the amazing start to his senior year season. Took the commitment while most fans were still looking at other higher rated guys with offers.

Our quarterback future looks bright. Bring in multiple talented players, let them compete against one another, and odds are the eventual winner will be a high-quality starter. Revolutionary strategy.

This guy looks like a typical Harbaugh quarterback recruit. I think he is going to be very good once he gets here and gets coached up. He could be Harbaugh's next Andrew Luck.

Brandon Peters looks a lot like a Matt Ryan type thrower to me.  Same body type.  Accurate with some arm.  Deceptive athleticism.
