Bowl Game Pools - How'd you do?

Submitted by M-Wolverine on
Now that it's all done, how'd you finish? Went 19-15 vs. The spread, all picked before the games started (so no latest lines or massaging the points). Don't feel too bad since I started 1-6. (Kinda finished 2-4 too. 8-2 on Jan. 1 & 2 helped). Oh, and won my pool. How'd you do?

Won! 20-14...made the picks as soon as the schedule was set...I started off terribly, but from Jan. 1 on I was near perfect, and I nailed the BCS games...my score for the title game was 35-17 Bama, came pretty close there... Picked all Big Ten teams to win except OSU and MSU...

I won both of the pools I was in on ESPN, although for some stupid reason I didn't put money on either of them. On my straight up bracket, I finished 21-13 good for 97.1th percentile, the 7120th ranked bracket. My confidence bracket was amazing, 98.6th percentile, 4765th rank. Which is hilarious because I was stupid and ranked all of my games backwards for confidence (that is, my most confident pick was worth 1 point, while my least confident was worth 34). I started 1-6 as well, btw.

21-10 (we didn't do it early enough to get the earliest 3 games) with my confidence being 358. Good enough for #1 out of 6. Funniest part was that I had to fight off someone who did a random # generator for the crown.

23-9 We weren't picking vs. the spread, though. We were just picking the winners. A couple weeks ago, I was in an NFL pool and went 14-1 on the weekend. The problem? TWO people went 15-0. That sucked.

Lets put it this way - They're threatening to have me castrated so that I don't pass on my unbelievably horrible bowl picking genes to any offspring. They say it'd be too cruel.
