Blake Corum gives back
Cool story about Blake Corum using his NIL money to buy 100 turkeys for Thanksgiving for the Ypsilanti community. Good for him!

Michigan Man right there!

Blake Corum is the most giving person ever. So much so, we have to two posts to talk about it.
[just messing with you OP, the first post on this topic has dropped off the first page]

He did this twice today!
C'mon man, do better. Click on the 'Go to MGoBoard' link before you post stuff like this...

Maybe save the lecture for a double post on one of the many inane topics we see here each week? This is a good story and I actually missed the first one.

While there was already a post about this earlier today, that was just a twitter link. This article has more detail. In particular I was wondering if Blake Corum was paying out of pocket for this, and if it was made possible due to his NIL income. Turns out yes, on both accounts.

Sorry about that. I did look on the full board, but apparently not close enough. If there's a way to close this thread, please do.

Leave it open. I love it. And don’t feel bad.

In this particular case, don't worry about it. Quite frankly, articles tend to best tweets, which is what the first thread referenced. This thread can stay.
As a general note to the board, do what was done here - if there is an article linked in the tweet, or indeed an article and a tweet somewhere, just post the link to the article plus perhaps a brief synopsis for those on the go.

Awesome! Great man. So happy that he is giving back. Now we need him to get back on the Field!

This team is so damn likable. We have our bell cow RB as a guy who was willing to switch positions, start low on the depth chart, and stick around to be one of the best RBs in America. We have a guy with 2 career tackles now catapult into a Top-10 pick. Vastardis visits the VA, Corum helps out the neighboring community. I guarantee the list goes on and on.
No one truly has it better than us!

And another unsung hero who stuck around, the Sheriff, who deserves one damn catch!

Great young man on a team of great young men. Nice going Blake.

Nice to see the board applauding Corum rather than blaming him.

Spartee on RCMB says this was all staged by the Blue Wall to make UM look good.

Immediately following the post-game wrap-up of TB and TB beating the NY Giants, Scott Van Pelt opened tonight's ESPN Sports Center by doing his nightly "Best Thing I've Seen Today" segment about Blake Corum distributing the turkeys & other Thanksgiving food as they went door to-door in Ypsilanti. While SVP described the effort, ESPN showed a minute or so of film footage as Blake & his dad and others went through a Ypsi neighborhood.
Heart-warming to see this.
