Blackwell's lawyers allege:

►Dantonio orchestrated employment for the parents of two MSU football players, with mega-donor Bob Skandalaris, whose name is on the football facility.

►Dantonio had Blackwell accompany him on a Metro Detroit home visit of an unnamed five-star recruit, when Blackwell, in his role as director of college advancement and performance, wasn't authorized to conduct off-campus visits.

Please. After everything that has happened surrounding the MSU football program it will be an impermissible recruiting visit that finally gets them? After Winston. After Robertson. After Corley. After all that and more Dantonio survives. The one thing we can count on is after Armageddon Dantonio will still coach football in East Lansing.  He is the cockroach of coaching.

I mean, I hate Mork as much as anyone, but this is considerably less juicy than I was hoping.

If you’re a sparty fan I’d imagine that you’re taking a huge sigh of relief that a pissed off Blackwell couldn’t come up with anything more damning.

Arranging for your biggest booster to give jobs to the parents of high ranked recruits sounds troublesome. It either gets a pass for some technicality or it's a major violation.

Whether MSU compliance approved the arrangement is in dispute. Dantonio says they did. If so, it's probably not going to be a big deal. If not, well that could have something to do with why he stepped down today.

Honestly, these look like the type of things the NCAA would sweep under the rug or give MSU a slap on the wrist for, though that could change if it leads to a larger investigation. The bigger problem for Mork might be if they can prove he lied during the disposition as that is perjury. Honestly at this point I am hoping Mork sticks around as long as possible so UM can give him more beatings.

Rumor over on RCMB that Dantini is retiring. I am skeptical. HOWEVA, he got his bonus and maybe the new MSU president finally grew a pair and is telling Dantini he can exit gracefully based on the ongoing bad publicity because or the Blackwell lawsuit.

Knowing college football, Murk will be an Alabama DC in 3 years and win a national championship. The color commentators will focus on his resilience, a la Urban Meyer's "gritty" final performance against UM, as he battled through his fake brain tumor.

No.  I want Mork around for another decade as Sharty continues to slide back into "Also Ran" status.  He doesn't get to just leave without Harbaugh exacting full revenge for every one of those green and white uni-browed aggies running their Lil Bro mouths about being the best football program in the state.  There will be no quick death... no single shot to the gourd...

this needs to be Sherman's march with twisted railroad ties & Atlanta in ashes... Rome sacking Carthage and sowing salt into the earth so nothing grows there for a generation... a death of a thousand paper cuts...  Not a "he cheated, he's out" exit.  No. This is too convenient... too EASY.

Michigan has orchestrated employment of UM football player parents within the program.  This is legal apparently vs helping them with a booster?
