Big Ten Media Days: Day 2 - Harbaugh at 11:30 AM ET
What type of questions you think we’ll see. Expect any answers with any substance or new information?
I would guess there will be an open statement up front about not being able to address any NCAA issues, similar to what Marr put out the other day.
Other than that more of the same. Excited for the season, team chopping at the bit, working up a lather, get 1% better everday, etc.. etc..
Maybe some questions about potentially playing Ohio State back to back under the new format since they asked Day about it.
Anything can happen when one begins chopping at the bit.
And not even chomping, or the correct word: champing.
I'll be doing some chomping soon, as it's almost lunch time....
So you'll be chomping in a bit?
Well done, not even going to try to edit. This needs to stay up to make sense.
Both are correct but it started as champing. No link, just saw this debate in the comments section to some Athletic article.
FWIW, BTN had an on-screen graphic at the start of today's live show that said Harbaugh's press conference starts at 12:30.
Good to know. They just showed the next coaches coming up and he wasn’t in the next 5, so I was confused.
11:30 Chi time
He was slated originally between Locksley and Fleck according to SI, but has since been pushed out an hour.
Will Harbaugh be in sport coat / suit and tie? I think so.
As for the other questions… it will be 100% coachspeak. No commitments to anything.
I do expect a question about the potential suspension - and, expect a “No comment.” Or something similar.
I hope he walks up eating a fucking cheese burger.
Wouldn’t it be great if he wears a Michigan hat with a Brown Jug logo on the side. And, brings a huge box of Brown Jug cheeseburgers for everyone in the audience and shakes from Pizza Bob’s in a variety of flavors.
Jim did a great job. Also love that he brought three amazing representatives of the football program, all of which would have heard their names called at the draft in April if they wanted to pursue the NFL this year.
“I can’t comment on the NCAA investigation”
”We are focused on getting better one day at a time”
”football players enjoy the struggle”
”We have 4 goals this season, beat State, Beat Ohio, Win the Big10, and win the national championship”
“I have an attitude of gratitude for our players, our parents, our coaches, and our athletic director and staff”
”I like what I see, our student athletes show up to work every day and work hard to become great students, athletes, and citizens”.
Did I miss anything?
A mention of the "Athletic Director".
Kris Jenkins said if Harbaugh couldn't be at the games in person he would for sure be there in spirit. I just hope the NCAA doesn't consider that another violation
