You can't even toss in a link so we can read the primary source or go more into detail so we understand what the point of the article was? It's almost like you were writing at the level of the freep.

When did I claim to be a writer? Stay in Wyoming please.
In what context was that written? Are they saying Hill is better than Hart? Worse? (it is the freep, I wouldn't doubt them saying Hill will be better). Is he a different type of player? Details details details
don't get wet, multiply, and allow yourself to feed after midnight please.
since Gremlin would rather criticize other people than take the 40 seconds it takes to retrieve the article from which he simply aped its title and pasted it into a blog post:

I don't use this a lot but...
+1 to you sir
That is all I wanted, a link.
What's with the Free Press? They seem to love to run articles that aren't so much about bashing as baiting Michigan fans.
What am I missing?
Hart and Hill know each other, apparently. People, particularly Michigan fans, have been making comparisons for quite a while. Similar stature, running style, etc. Most thought if he was given a offer by Michigan, he would have committed immediately. It didn't happen, so he selected MSU, a school that Hart called out publicly, and whose coach subsequently tossed a "little" comment back at Hart. Not Pulizter material, but there's a wee story there, and probably worth the couple hundred words or so that the Freep gave it.
...the bottom line here.
Nick Hill has secured himself a scholarship to play college football. If Austin White is a "no" later, and Michigan gets more rejections, there is no reason Hill couldn't de-commit and commit to U-M after getting an offer from the Blue. But it's not going to happen for a while. And I don't blame Hill for committing.
Now THAT would heat up the rivalry even more.
would have fun with a Hill switcheroo. But I think the chances of it happening are slim even in the event an offer does come (which strikes me as remote possibility at best), because I'm not sure Hill would jump ship. Seems like he's moved on. If so, good for him.
However, a decommit-commit to UofM would be fun if for no other reason that a shortish Mike Hart-type pokes Mark Dantonio in the eye again.
was that nobody was comparing Hart to anybody when he arrived. The whole point of prospect with hidden-potential is that his potential is, in fact, hidden. Nice try, though, Freep.
Can't we just take Hill and say no to Drake. Let's do that.
"A big difference between Nick Hill and Mike Hart -- is not MSU, but that Hart has already finished a highly successful college career and Nick Hill could be a bust for all anybody knows."
Fretting about 3-star recruits? Mike Hart was one, and he turned out pretty productive for us. . . . .
arrrg...dp
Difference = Hart was one of the greatest backs this state has ever seen. Hill hasn't done shit yet, and will most likely never be anywhere near as good as Hart.
While freep often caters to MSU fans by bashing UM and making MSU seem relevant on the national stage, I fail to see how this article is biased for MSU at all. All it says is that Hill is a running back in the same mold as Hart and is friends with Hart. It doesn't say that this is one more example of MSU owning the state of Michigan or that MSU stole a recruit UM was interested in. If it had, then freep bashing would have been warranted.
The "article" doesn't really seem to say much of anything. And the "article" seems to have nothing to do with the Captain Obvious headline.
I think the freep is suffering greatly from budget cuts.
