BG goin' pro?

Submitted by MinorRage on
Thread on the scout board titled "Uh Oh re: Brandon Graham going pro" Any body with some additional info here. I'm assuming it means he will be filing the paperwork to see where he will get drafted. That would be a crushing blow if we don't get him back for another year.

Your use of the term "gay" as an insult would indicate you think there's something wrong with it. And how is copy+pasting the content of the post the guy asked about "acting like I know everything"? Put aside the syntax and grammatical holocaust that occurs every time your breathe on a keyboard, you also just don't make any sense.

I was just agreeing with Ninja Football. Obviously I'm not the only one who thinks you act like a douche sometimes. So take it as you will. If you stop acting like an arrogant prick then no one is going to call you out.

OK, I looked through your history to see where I offended you. On the Jordan Barnes post, you called Barnes a "bum" and a "girl". I called you a douche, or something like it. So did like 50 other people. Seemingly, you're only obsessed with me to the point of stalking my posts across the site to call me gay and "shitown". Congratulations.

the guy stalking you was transplanted here from Mlive. He has all the characteristics of an Mlive poster. He stalks people, doesn't back up his arguments with anything other than smack talk, and uses childish insults like "shitown." Dude, take that 3-9 shit back to Mlive where it belongs.

Yeah you wish you were stalker worthy. I just happen to see the same type of comments from you all the time. And when someone else calls you out, I may as well go ahead and agree. Yeah sure, i don't have any insider information, only a few do. I'm here to read about my team, i just get sick of your shit spewing. Congratulations to you;)

when you call people names and go by the ever-so-considerate "shove3and9upyourACE" And Chitown does not know everything nor acts like it. Unlike you, he presents facts in support of his opinions, and takes issue with those who do not. Of the 18,862 posts he has made since MGoBlog's new format, chitown has indeed been wrong. Twice.

going by "shove it" is just a little belligerent, don't you think? But as Bill Parcells famous said recently, "you are what your record is." Michigan's record was lousy... the team was lousy. Deal with it, you'll feel better. As for chitown being the god of blogging, he isn't. Brian is.

If I'm correct, then it shouldn't be a bit surprising if BG leaves now in the interests of maximizing his rookie $$. It all depends on what sort of stuff he hears about a likely draft status. It's a gamble; if he stays and has another great year on a (hopefully) better team, then he'll very likely go pretty high. Even with a cap, that might yield more $$ than if he declares now but drops to the 2nd or 3rd round. I hope to hell he stays. The D is going to be iffy enough with him. Wouldn't blame him a bit if he goes.

Also, HA! Look what I started! I still wonder if it hurts to be that dumb. Don, You are correct on the NFL. After the Commissioner's comments at the draft last year it looks like the Management side really wants to curb the outrageous contracts for unproven talent. The problem with that is the NFL Players Association will never go for it. Another issue is the percentage of revenue that actually goes to players' salaries (iirc) and the spectre of a lockout by the owners will be a very real possibility if a contract isn't reached. Why you would mess with a business model that has made so many people so wealthy and made the NFL by far the most dominant/popular professional league in the U.S. I have no clue. But then again, without idiots we wouldn't have had this thread, either.

I'm not totally familiar with the NFL salary structure (MLB on the other hand...), but I have to imagine that there are far more post rookie contract NFLers than there are rookies. Suggests to me that they would be in favor of a cap on rookie salaries as long as the general salary cap remains unchanged. Pool of available money for vets goes up significantly under that proposed CBA.
