BBQ Visitors

This weekend is the BBQ at the Big House. I have at least 21 offered, uncommitted prospects in town this weekend, and that doesn't include the vast majority of the 2020 class right now. The only 2020 commits not slated to visit (AFAIK) are J.D. Johnson, Roman Wilson, Jeffrey Persi, Kris Jenkins, and Nick Patterson.

R.J. Moten is supposed to announce his commitment tomorrow...while he's at Michigan.

There's also buzz about at least one more guy potentially committing.

I encourage you to watch the highlights of 2021 RB Corey Kiner, who has exceptional balance. I like that kid.

I will say it again.. .we need to regain a foothold in Ohio... ever since Tressel blocked us around 2005, its been a program slide.... not a coincidence...   Harbaugh has been trying, and to get back in we need to win with outsiders first.   Also a reason why staee had any success..because he was pals with Tressel who steered his plan B guys to him.  Now that Meyer was there, staee isn't getting those plan b guys, and its reflected in results.

I agree with your take on Greene having his finger on the pulse of Ohio.

At the same time, I believe every Ohio player with an OSU offer will pick the Buckeyes over Michigan unless/until that player says otherwise. Obviously, it's not 100%, but I don't get my hopes up for Ohio players.

I do, however, perk up whenever Michigan offers someone from the states of Michigan, New Jersey, Maryland, and Georgia.

The (hopefully) avalanche begins in less than 5 hours-right through Makari on Tuesday!!! (Carr and Johnson sure have me curious on how they are going to shake down here-Michigan needs at least one of the two.) Get that 2021 class train going!

Really curious about 2021 and beyond. I'd love to know about our chances with Damon Payne, Rocco Spindler, Donovan Edwards, Ryan Linthicum, Garrett Dellinger, and Corey Kiner. Of course there are a ton more kids, but if we were to add those 6 kids to McCarty and El-Hadi, we would solidify the OL (critical,) get another great QB, solid RB's, and a great start on the DL. In some ways, I want Payne most of all, because that is a head to head recruiting battle with OSU. I wonder how much this coming 2019 season will sway these guys to Michigan or away from Michigan.
