Lakers are the perfect fit for Morris, home town, they need a PG (probably one year learning) he won't have to be the 'man'  i see D.Morris having a very solid NBA career

I know there's not a lot of data here, but it certainly is tempting to infer from what there is that part of his older brother's "mentoring" was to convince him to leave school early for the draft, and probably cost him a couple of million dollars.  It's tough to fault a guy for listening to his family, but with that kind of "mentoring," maybe he would have been better off alone.

As I understand it his brother was the catalyst for him even considering coming to Michigan.

I agree in terms of this: I don't think the kids who decided to declare this year really understood just what kind of labor situation we're talking about here. I mean, how could you? This has turned pretty freaking ugly and could stay that way for a while. This isn't the NFL situation. There are a lot of teams losing a lot of money. This is more like the NHL, which obviously benefited enormously long-term from the lockout situation.

I just feel awful for Darius that he won't have a guaranteed contract whenever this concludes. That, and living at home for up to a year will throw anyone off.
