Alternative History: What would of happened if we hired Harbaugh in 02?
If we had hired Harbaugh as QB coach in 2002, would he be the head coach at Michigan right now? If he's as good a coach as everyone thinks he probably does pretty well as QB coach and decent shot gets promoted to offensive coordinator in 06. If he does decent there, then he probably would have been the clear cut in-house favorite when Carr retires.

Yeah...According to the iPhone, "mean to" sometimes equals "menopause." You have lost my trust, iPhone. "Reports allege that Rich Rodriguez has been ?ferret? from the university of ?milkweed?." Auto-correct fail.

Don't worry, I wanted to say the same thing but you beat me to it.

Considering the iPhones obsession with autocorrecting things that don't need correcting, I think grammatical errors can slide by tonight...

Do you really think the iphone's auto correct feature changed "have" to "of"? I mean really?

He could have just as easily moved on after a stint as our qb coach. Carr was very loyal to his established coaches. And besides, SL did very well developing NFL talent and he was never promoted under Carr.

Harbaugh would just be a popular assistant on the staff, but because he would have never gotten any head coaching experience, he wouldn't be "ready", and it would be an "inbred hire" staying with the "old boring ways", that the fans and places like MGoBlog would have skewered, so it wouldn't have happened. He'd probably still be a coach at the San Diego level, and wouldn't be a candidate now (or if he was Brian would be threatening to swear about it).
