Albom's take
Alright, he's a douche. But he's a douche that wrote Bo's autobiography and has written some legitimatly fantastic articles on sports.

Please draw up something to go along with this Albom quote:
"Ah, youth. The kid showed amazing scrambling, throwing and decision-making ability – in his second game! – skills that ultimately tipped this thing in Michigan’s favor. He threw for 240 yards, ran for 80, scored a touchdown and threw two more, including the game winner. He is a waterbug with a low pulse rate and telescope eyes. "

How does one go about writing someone else's autobiography? :)

It's incredibly common. I love Bo, but the man was no writer... Mitch turned his stories into a fantastic book.

Like Brodie said, it's incredibly common. The role of the ghost writer will vary pretty widely, but typically the subject will have had a great deal of input into the book. The ghost writer may do anything from editing and polishing up of the subject's notes, or they ghost writer might interview the subject extensively and do most of the work. In either case, ro an authobiography the ghost writer will try to use the subject's actual words as much as possible.
Not sure why Brodie was negged for that, either, as it's almost certainly true that Bo used a ghost writer. Not sure why I care, as Brodie certainly has enough mgopoints...

I know I'm biased, but I really don't like his cute little articles anymore. He should stick to sappy human interest stories.

From Mitchy:
"Come on, How many Michigan fans were sure this was over when the Wolverines blew a 14-3 lead and fell behind 20-14?
How many were sure it was over when Forcier made his first – and only –real mistake of the day, a miscommunication floater for a fourth quarter interception?
How many of you thought the miracles were done when Forcier was sacked with just over a minute left?"
Nope, not for a second. I've always known (hoped?) last year was an aberration. And for decades, in situations very similar to today, I always laughed at those folks sitting behind us who freaked whenever M fell behind and Griese, Grbac, Henne, et all just calmly made it all better.
I have already put last year into the deep recesses of my mind.

He's trying to pour water on our fire, the little freak eared jerk.
I **never*** leave early at games as long as there is even a remote chance of winning.

Does Albom have it in him to wake up and get on the right side of a good story? C'mon Mitch stand up in the news room and just say it..."Guys, we kinda got things wrong, let's put down our shovels and stop digging a deeper hole."
