Aidan Hutchinson is PFF's highest graded DE this season

Yeah that doesn't surprise me at all, especially in the absence of Thibedeaux the past two weeks. If Aidan maintains or elevates his level of play as the season progresses I think he will be the second DE off the board, most likely a top 15 pick. He really is playing that well so far. Absolute difference maker.

How many years in the NFL before he passes his MD father in net worth?
September 20th, 2021 at 9:47 PM ^
His net worth will far exceed his father’s the moment he signs his rookie contract.

Not sure why this got down voted. It's true.

it is crazy we make celebrities and rich people out of athletes isn't it.
his fathers job can save peoples lives, his son may do great things one day as well but will be paid so much more for chasing QB's around playing a game.
odd when you think about it

That's capitalism baby. Supply and demand.

When you’re an elite commodity in a multi billion dollar industry, you’re going to get paid.
September 20th, 2021 at 8:16 PM ^
Hutch is a top 10 pick; maybe top 5 since this is a very down year for QBs
September 21st, 2021 at 9:48 AM ^
at tis point, he needs to keep getting after and and play like he has on the really big games that are to come.

If what I can see before you have to subscribe is correct, Blake Corum is also the No.1 rated running back.
September 20th, 2021 at 8:23 PM ^
Steve did a great job teaching him young
September 20th, 2021 at 8:36 PM ^
And, oh BTW, Blake Corum is the highest rated running back.
September 20th, 2021 at 10:08 PM ^
Yes we have legit difference makers on both sides of the ball.
Dax Hill is still improving (we suppose and hope). So too damn bad about Ronnie Bell.
Still All-America types on each side of the ball is huge. Teams have to game plan hard for those guys and many teams can’t hope to slow them down much
September 20th, 2021 at 8:36 PM ^
Nuts, double post.
September 20th, 2021 at 8:36 PM ^
Aidan has been awesome so far. Very cool that's how he has graded up. Hope he can keep it up.
September 20th, 2021 at 9:06 PM ^
He has definitely made his presence felt and is probably getting double teamed a fair amount. That being said, wondering why we don't have more qb sacks? Is it the MacDonald scheme that doesn't blitz the heck out of the other team?
September 21st, 2021 at 1:32 AM ^
Yes'ish.
WMU threw fast, Washington ran a fair amount and we got a ton of pressure on their QB throughout a lot of the game, NIU's offense is a super run heavy offense so, ya know, cant sack a RB.
September 21st, 2021 at 9:51 AM ^
seemed very early on that NIUs game plan was based on not getting their QB killed especially when that QB had beaten us the year before.
they had no plan to win the game or even compete, they kicked a FG from inside the 5 instead of trying to tie the game in 1st QTR.
not worried about the sacks, we are getting pressure and forcing bad throws.

Making his father Steve proud.
September 20th, 2021 at 10:41 PM ^
Chris?
September 21st, 2021 at 9:51 AM ^
sarcasm I hope
September 20th, 2021 at 9:21 PM ^
Looked like Corum too? I was paywalled.
September 20th, 2021 at 9:47 PM ^
Currently the #1 rated running back by PFF yep.
September 20th, 2021 at 9:48 PM ^
Yep. He’s a beast. Will very much enjoy seeing if he can keep up or even accelerate his dominance as the season continues and he faces quality opponents who are none the less getting worn down by multiple games. Going to be great!
September 20th, 2021 at 10:30 PM ^
If you click the link, Corum is the highest graded RB as well, then it fades away into the paywall
September 20th, 2021 at 11:10 PM ^
He was somehow not credited for that sack he clearly got against NIU
September 20th, 2021 at 11:45 PM ^
Think that ended up being for no gain, I was little shocked too when I saw that.
September 21st, 2021 at 7:50 AM ^
I noticed that too. Mgoblue.com credits him with the sack, ESPN doesn't. *shrugs*

Strength + Technique + Commitment = Aidan Hutchinson

For the love of god please stay healthy.
