Texas Tech just converted a perfect surprise onside kick and then gave it right back on an interception.
September 26th, 2020 at 5:09 PM ^
That was an absolutely incredible play by that kicker to perfectly execute the bouncing roller and then recover it himself.
If every special teams coach is not going to practice these after this and Atlanta's gaff last week they are doing it wrong. Drill onside kick 25 times in a row and scream to receiving team "GO GET IT NOW" every time! Not that uncommon of a play for guys to be incorrectly laying back waiting for it to cross.
Finally broke down today and tuned in to some games. Glad I have. Can't wait for the Team to start.

Gotta be honest, watching Georgia’s absolute disaster of an offense is what I’m worried Michigan could look like in a few weeks, based on the little we’ve seen from Milton so far.
I hope I’m wrong and I’m sure I’m going to get negged for saying that, but my god they look like the 2013-14 Michigan offense right now. And against fucking Arkansas.
September 26th, 2020 at 5:25 PM ^
Georgia is struggling.
And you have to love that Mike Leach is dominating LSU so far in the first half in yards and clock time. Hopefully the turn overs wont kill them.

LSU is still coached by Ed Orgeron. Yes I realize he won a national title 9 months ago, but he didn’t win that title. Joe Brady and his tutelage of Joe Burrow did.
I will credit Orgeron for making a great hire with Brady and then proceeding to get the hell out of his way, but Orgeron is still a guy who still got schooled at home by Troy a few years ago. With all that superior SEC talent and speed at his disposal. Orgeron is a guy who minus one year of catching lightning in a bottle has gotten curb stomped by Alabama every year. He won that title and no one can take that away from him. But he won it on someone else’s merits.
I still wouldn’t count him among the country’s elite coaches.

Georgia at #4 and LSU at #6 looks about as logical as Oklahoma at #3.
September 26th, 2020 at 6:12 PM ^
The problem is they’ll play each other and then that’s a “top 10” win. If Michigan played in the SEC, Harbaugh would have multiple “top 10” wins. The SEC gets overrated and then when they lose to each other it’s a “good loss” so they barely drop.
September 26th, 2020 at 6:06 PM ^
This KJ Costello is pretty solid.
September 26th, 2020 at 6:07 PM ^
Michigan is better than LSU and Georgia. LSU rode Burrows to a National Championship. They’ll probably have 2-3 losses this year. Oklahoma has no defense. Tennessee is overrated and probably will struggle to just above .500. The playoff is going to be OSU, Bama, Clemson, and whoever lucks into it this year. Unfortunately, I believe it’ll be a Clemson-OSU final most likely.
September 26th, 2020 at 6:39 PM ^
Florida looked solid on offense today
September 26th, 2020 at 6:17 PM ^
Wow, LSU’s fight song is absolute trash
September 26th, 2020 at 6:39 PM ^
If Michigan played like Georgia they would be calling for JH head on Sunday
September 26th, 2020 at 6:51 PM ^
Gotta love that Leach/Costello combo in Starksville.
Miss St puts out good D talent.
That team could make some serious noise.

INSANE catch by Vasher for TT - longhorns looking to be the 2nd top ten team to fall...
September 26th, 2020 at 7:13 PM ^
Chris Ash still Rutger level ass. Texas defense looks worse than last year.
September 26th, 2020 at 7:14 PM ^
LOL at Chris Ash looking like a lost puppy on the Texas sideline. Longhorn defense is going full Rutger.
September 26th, 2020 at 7:37 PM ^
There is no such thing as a Chris Ash - crying meme, because he looks like he is permanently crying.
September 26th, 2020 at 7:19 PM ^
Ehlinger is the most overrated player in the country.
September 26th, 2020 at 7:21 PM ^
Remember when Tom Herman was going to make Texas the Alabama / OSU of the Big 12?
Yeah, me neither.
September 26th, 2020 at 7:32 PM ^
He’s a good offensive mind, and a top notch offensive coordinator. However, he isn’t a very good head coach and he’s a giant douchebag as a person.
September 26th, 2020 at 7:23 PM ^
Texas just displayed the worst combined tackling effort I've ever seen. I'd leave Chris Ash in Lubbock if I were Tom Herman, though he might get left behind, too.
Also, lol at Urban Meyer talking up the Ash hire on the FOX pregame show.
September 26th, 2020 at 7:25 PM ^
Did Tarik play today for texas?
September 26th, 2020 at 7:34 PM ^
He did what he always does, has a good game then completely disappears ( probably for the rest of the season ). He did leave at some point looking banged up and I don’t think he came back in.
September 26th, 2020 at 7:28 PM ^
And now TTU is totally pissing away this game.
September 26th, 2020 at 7:28 PM ^
Mike Leach and KJ Costello are a terrific combination. They are going to cause the SEC some problems this year!
September 26th, 2020 at 7:29 PM ^
I confess I’m kind of proud of my old law school buddy looking like he’s about to beat LSU in Baton Rouge.
September 26th, 2020 at 7:29 PM ^
Mike Leach is weird - but he is some qb coach. Making Costello look like Mahomes.
September 26th, 2020 at 7:34 PM ^
Eye cancer defense. This is like RichRod on steroids.
September 26th, 2020 at 7:34 PM ^
I bet Texas and TT don't score this many points when they meet on the hardwood. Pathetic Big XII defense.
September 26th, 2020 at 7:35 PM ^
Great sports day for those like us who are in the mindset to enjoy. Hopefully JamesBondherpesmeds and others can come around and start to enjoy again soon, too. How many top 10 teams want to lose today?
September 26th, 2020 at 7:38 PM ^
Herd immunity might mean a full season, but it does not mean you don’t lose to a bad team. Better luck next time LSU!
September 26th, 2020 at 7:39 PM ^
Texas Tech demonstrates unmitigated coaching stupidity. Simply incredible end of game mismanagement.
September 26th, 2020 at 7:45 PM ^
Texas Tech is probably going to lose this game in overtime after holding a 15-point lead with 4:00 left in regulation.
September 26th, 2020 at 7:53 PM ^
LOL, what a tremendous choke job by Texas Tech.
September 26th, 2020 at 7:54 PM ^
Way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory....
