Nick Saban just called a football field a triangle. SEC.

What are you drinking? I'm drinking Bell's Two Hearted.

by Manziel but they just called it a "signature" and "magic." That was a truly bad play, a mistake, and they give him credit. It WAS a great catch by Pope, but terrible play by Manziel.

Since ESPN started giving Clowney credit for "distracting" the other team and "disrupting" (cough, not getting to the ball) plays.  Clowney (or any other ESPNz-sponsored SEC Heisman candidate) could get blocked on his ass and get credit for taking his man out of the play.

I'm all for jumping all over the espn hype train, but I have to give them credit on the clowney case. They sure did hype him to insane levels, but he also got a whole hell of a lot of criticism after that first game. Between the first and second game there was some residual hype and discussion as to whether the first game was an outlier, but after two nondominating performances, I haven't heard that much hype on him. It only took two weeks to crush espn's golden boy, and that's not too bad.

So funny listening to Gary Danielson stumble over his words when Manziel does something like make a horrible throw for that INT in the endzone.

Penalty on the play: hitting too hard.  This sport is quickly becoming a joke.  Good thing my daughter can hope to play football.  What an INSANE call.  Glad to see Goodell's hopes of 60-55 games is quickly becoming a reality at all levels.

For the safety of player?  Bull-SHIT.  Also, the announcers pandering to the NCAA and NFL is disgusting, they can't think for themselves.  "It's the rule and we're going to live with it."  Fuck off asshat.  These rule changes are all promote the offense.  Oh, and now lets make excuses for a paid official.  What a sham.  I already stopped watching the NFL because of the rule changes.

is already looking ridiculous. Getting to the point where defensive players can't even play defense anymore. Defender should have the same right to the ball in the air that the receiver has.

You can review the call, realize it is wrong and the result? .....we will keep the call just not ejecting the player. What exactly is the penalty?
