ABC: Penn State shut out at home 1st half--1st time since 84 ('Bama)

I suppose the announcers got their info from the Penn State athletic dept.  It would have just been too painful to store information about the beatdown.

when ABC cut away to the Nebraska-Missouri game.

I was watching it at a bar as I couldn't even get the game from GamePlan back then.

Whoda thunk we'd be able to see BabySeal U games now?

Both these teams have horrible offenses!  Earlier this year I thought IL would be one of our tough road games.  I think IA will be a more difficult road game now. I wish we played PSU, they just look awful on offense!

Doing their best GERG impression. 3rd and 6 in the redzone Illinois corners give a huge cushion and backpedel at the snap. It's almost like they're trying to let PSU score, and they still can't do it.

Penn State at home:

Trailed Wisconsin 12-0 at the half in 2001.  Ended up losing 18-6.

Trailed Miami 33-0 at the half in 2001.  Ended up losing 33-7.

Trailed Michigan 13-0 at the half in 2001.  Ended up losing 20-0.

Trailed Toledo 17-0 at the half in 2000.  Ended up losing 24-6.

Trailed Michigan 24-0 at the half in 1997.  Ended up losing 34-8.

Trailed Wisconsin 10-0 at the half in 1995.  Ended up losing 17-9.

Those announcers weren't even close with that stat.
