8 conference games are better than 9
I've thought this over and I don't really like this because after this goes into affect we'll never get the chance to play home and homes with LSU, Alabama, or Oklahoma. We'll add a conference game, but it could be sacrificing a home game to go play at Indiana, Minnesota, or Illinois.

Sure we can. If ND is added to the B1G and we play them at the same rate, there would be zero net effect.

Well this has never been talked about.

Has Brandon even shown interest in scheduling a home and home series with top teams like that?

<br>I think that's why he was looking into situations like the Bama game in Dallas. Neutral field so no need for home and home and we don't lose the money we would have made with a home game cream puff.

I'd like to see a 10 game conference schedule and two decent or one good-one bad OOC game every year, but that's just me.

9 conference games is better than playing western and eastern in the same season

If we use our 3 non conference games to schedule quality teams, we will still be able to see all the teams you mentioned.

but we won't unless we drop Notre Dame and adding a conference game doesn't mean your necessarily playing good competition. purdue indiana minnesota etc.
