247 lists his only visits to Kansas and Michigan. Kentucky leads the crystal ball picks with North Carolina second and Kansas third.

I think we have a good chance here. I would say a 35/35/20/10 split between Michigan, Kansas, overseas, and some other school respectively.

North Carolina isn't a real option. If they're the ones in it it's effectively Michigan or overseas. I don't think he even has a committable offer there (Either a disagreement on position or Roy Williams not liking the overseas rumors, depending on who you ask).

Not sure why Kentucky even has crystal balls, as I'm pretty sure they're filled up at his position and I haven't seen any chatter for them at all.

There are plenty of mothers who don’t care one bit about that.  Rashan’s mom and Malik McDowell’s mom were venerated here bc they lived up to our expectations of a mom prioritizing the “right things” (education, ethics, influences favoring long-term well-being, etc).  But there are plenty of moms, especially young moms, who are just looking for their son to get theirs.

Indiana isn’t in the KU, OU and CU bucket. IU actually stands for Indiana University. The others switch the letters around for some reason but they aren’t abbreviations for the actual names of the schools. They are the University of Kansas, the University of Oklahoma and the University of Colorado.

I'm sure there are negs coming for this but I never understood the insistence that Calapari cheats. Every year he recruits 5 freshman and every year those five freshman get drafted in the first round. Why would he need to pay when the NBA is more than happy to do it for him?

Your argument is that because D Rose cheated on his SAT and Marcus Camby signed with an agent that means Calapari pays players? No wonder you're trying to change the subject. I do not find that argument very compelling. Even you know it's a bullshit argument, that's why you're going with most people and dirty rather than I and pays players.

I got this started with the Cheatapari name calling. I have no evidence that explicitly points to him as a cheater. I think hes slimy but that's just my opinion. I also think several other schools cheat as well. Its just my opinion based on who they pull in consistently. I did say when he came to UK that if he cheats there he is just a moron because he doesn't have to. He was given keys to a lamborghini and told to go win street races. UK is without a doubt a top 3 basketball powerhouse where you should not have to cheat to get players.

Kansas just had Snoop Dogg and a Stripper at Midnight Madness. Sorry dudes, but we can't compete with that. No coincidence that he's getting close to a decision after that.

So he's trying to decide between three schools who pay players a shit ton of money and one that doesnt.

I'm gonna go way out on a limb here and say the one school who doesn't pay won't get the 5 star.

Prolly finish #2 though.

I would think the positions Howard should be able to recruit would be the bigs. I can see where guards and wings may be in a wait and see mode but I cant see why a big would not want to come here and work everyday with a legend. A big man should be his first commit.

You counter argued his point and made it for him.  To come and play for a legend.  Where did said legend go to school?  He’s not a legend but FAB 5 are legends for the time they played @ the University of Michigan.  So you say you wouldn’t say he’s a legend and then said it?  Go to bed.

I definitely would. He was a member of a legendary group of players in college that changed the game forever. He is a two time NBA champion. He was the first player to sign a 100 million dollar contract. He has been an assistant with some of the best coaches in the NBA. Yes, his Michigan coaching career is just getting started but i would call him a legend, at least in Michigan circles anyway.

Why are you so sure Kansas vs Michigan?

Kid tweets an awful lot about Kentucky and UNC. Im a firm believer in twitter recruiting analytics

I just cant see someone committing to Kansas at the moment. Theyre likely to be hit with a postseason ban IMO and that whole stripper money gun thing is a horrible look

We'll see tomorrow, but I'm more sure than usual.

1. He's taken two OVs, to Michigan and Kansas.

2. He took his OVs the last two weekends and now is cutting his list from 5 to 2.

3. Kansas and Michigan are the only schools making him a priority. He canceled his OV to Memphis.

4. When were his last tweets about UK and UNC? They were the favorites once.

5. If KU gets hit hard by the NCAA before the season, he can bail on them. Penalties won't kick in during a season.

6. See #1. If it was going to be anyone else, he'd wait.
