Wiscy is going to a 3-4?  I saw an article the other day that dropped all pretense and referred to this look for what it is: the old 5-2 my team ran in high school.

Mumphrey dropped a lot of passes last year and Arnett didn't even see the field.  Burbridge is a stud.  We'll see but if they play anything like last year they will be in trouble.  Their DL was so-so last year.  They let Nebraska run up and down the field against them and they also lose a big part of that unit in Gholston.

Their back 7 are studs.  I'll give them that.  I think Dantonio is a very good coach at evaluating defensive talent and defensive coaching talent.  I don't think he has the same eye for offensive player/coaching talent.

Yeah, not everybody in a college of 45K people is involved.  I've never understood why everyone wants O'Brien and the players who had nothing to do with it to fail.  I hate PSU anyway but not because of the incident.

but the university / institution has to be punished. They benefitted for yeeeears while this was happening in their backyard. I just think this punishment is deserved because the school shouldn't be allowed to say "but it happened 10 years ago!" and continue their football machine unaffected

Wisconsin looks pretty good, and still Wisconsin-like.  The defense is no-name again (excl. Borland), but they're tough and physical, tackle well.

They're OL is much better than PSU/MSU, as are the RB's.  Their mediocre QBs are also better than PSU/MSU mediocre QBs.  Don't see any WRs.

Hey Guys I am really questioning which team I should be a fan of, here is my situation..:

I live in michigan and just finished painting my room michigan colors, I have many connections to the university but some of the people that I hate and they hate me like Michigan too so it makes me feel wierd.

I just went to a notre dame spring game, I was born by notre dame and i enjoyed the game, I liked the bright gold helmets, the players, and brian kellys relation to GVSU, etc.

Now for you guys knowing that, what would you recommend? Be fans of both teams? Forget that haters like the same team? or go with ND?

you should probably use this as a way to overcome your adversity.  Maybe when you are rooting for the same team you bond over the triumph of the team and your adversity is forgotten.

trying to change your allegence based on others due to personal feelings just seems immature or moot.

you should be a fan of the team that you want and not base if off of others.  And you do not have to choose one team only.  If the teams that you are a fan of play each other you might have to choose but heck it can be fun too
