$4 million restraining order

Ricky and Jenny grew up together. They were small town sweethearts. Jenny was no runway model, but for those parts she was considered a catch. Ricky was no Brad Pitt, but had potential and was a good match for Jenny. They eventually got married and their life was quite good. Ricky worked hard and made a name for himself in his chosen profession. Jenny, of course appreciated Ricky's hard work and made a nice home. However, after some time, Jenny began to let herself go. She put on weight, paid little attention to personal (including dental) hygiene. Some of her teeth fell out. She wore loud, ugly clothing. This, of course, upset Ricky. He tried to make things work. He tried to get Jenny to go on a diet. He make appointments for her at the dentist. Jenny would make promises about losing weight and cleaning up her act, but would never see it through. The union suffered. Ricky continued professionally to make a name for himself and was considered an "up-and-comer". He was courted by many companies. He tried to take Jenny along on his ride to success, but she balked at every opportunity. On one business trip, Ricky met a beautiful blonde executive named Michelle. They began to talk. They were compatable and shared similar, high professional goals. She was thin, attractive with a gentle class. It turned out that she came from money as well. It didn't take long for Ricky and Michelle to fall in love. Ricky told Jenny that despite his efforts, she would not meet him half-way and that they were through. He told her that he had found another. Jenny began to make life miserable for Ricky and Michelle. She stalked them wherever they went. She would show up in the strangest places hurling insults. She crashed the wedding, a fat, toothless hag in the back swearing and shouting vile things. She showed up at their honeymoon hotel and made a scene. Ricky and Michelle tried to make a life together but it was difficult with the constant harrassment by Jenny. Michelle's wealthy family loved Ricky, but was embarrassed by the spectacle that Jenny created. Ricky tried to seek help through the legal system but to no avail. He wanted to move on with his life, but the legal system was too ponderous and only dragged things out and made it worse. Finally, he was able to find a corrupt judge. With financial assistance from Michelle's family, he paid off the judge in exchange for a restraining order. This helped greatly. They finally got some relief from Jenny and were able to begin a life together. Jenny was not completely forgotten, however. Occasionally she would make a scene in town throwing about toothless accusations about Ricky, but for the most part she was ignored. She still lives in the double-wide. Ricky and Michelle are happy and the sky is the limit.
