327 Days and 23 hours until The Game...beat OSU, finish the job
It is frustrating what we saw today, I just hope something was learned about what we need to take the next step and what needs to happen in order to prepare better for bowl games.
The saving grace is, a lot of guys coming back next year, Blake says he's 50/50, and we have a favorable schedule.
Here's to 2023, hopefully another smashing of the nuts, and finishing the job this time.

We heard all year about the players learning and staying after and watching Georgia celebrate. This year was supposed to be the year you capitalize on the learning experience.

One of those two didn’t play (a difference maker) and the other still has a cast. They made chicken salad after the top RB and top 2 TEs got hurt and despite many mistakes nearly executed the biggest cfp comeback.
I want next year to be about winning with absolute cruelty. Don’t just finish, annihilate.

They still had players capable of filling in at each position. Osu won with a third string QB, enough of the excuses.

The loss today hurts, but it was a great ride this year. I'm sad football season is over.
Thanks to the Buckeyes, the offseason will be a pleasant one.

I mean, better bowl prep has been obvious since 2016. Don’t know why we should expect it will magically happen next year.

Same way Harbaugh fixed the program and started beating OSU.
Put a focus on it, and go out and learn from and listen to some of the best in the business.
Harbaugh needs to own his shit bowl record like he owned his difficulties against rivals prior to last year. Things can be fixed.

Go Blue. Beat Ohio.

Beating osu doesn't finish the job, jj said so after this years osu game.

Beat OSU next year at home and make it 3 in a row, who is going to complain?
January 1st, 2023 at 12:57 AM ^
So i take it you're not complaining right now because beating them 2 in a row was unfathomable 2 years ago? Look, op said beat osu, finish the job.. im just commenting on the fact that beating osu is no longer finishing the job. In fact, winning the semifinal is no longer finishing the job according to this team. Their 4 goals were beating msu, beating osu, winning the B1G, and winning the national title. "Job's not finished".

I said beating OSU, AND finishing the job i.e. winning a first round game at least. Cuz more than likely the loser isnt backing in next year.
They were able to win in Columbus for the first time in forever, that's a big deal.
I don't think this game was on the players as much as coaching, there were a lot of very obvious goofs on offense and defense.

Show me the 'and' in between beating osu, finish the job...

Looking forward to it. Your players played an excellent game today. Hopefully Blake isn’t back next year because that’ll make it a hard one in AA next year. I’ll go back into my corner now.

That's fair PB. You had a great opportunity like we did that didn't pan-out. Appreciate you as a frenemy and poster. Happy New Year!

PB, you are the exact type of rival fan that should hang out here from time to time - not a troll, a pleasure. i can 't say i'm sorry your team lost last night, but i can still wish you the best.

It's really hard to keep winning at this pace. When you get the chance you have to finish. We've had about 7/8 miserable quarters in our two playoff games.
Next year looks good on paper, but... Meh dunno

Really need to develop #1 deep threat receiver for next year.

I’m not sure about the favorable schedule. We play at msu, at Nebraska, at penn state and at Minnesota. Those are tough tough road games. And of course osu at the end. This was our best chance
