3 M hockey players make WJC camp roster
FYI
Tyler Motte, Andrew Copp and JT Compher all made the camp list for the USA World Junior team. There's 15 forwards on the camp roster and 13 spots with one guy possibly injured (per the link) so there's a good chance all three would make the team
Also Super Uncool Guy Connor Carrick is on the roster as well
Michigan has the 2nd most players on the roster (3) only behind BC (4)

A few players invited have been battling injuries or had bad camps last year. Those players will need to have a great camp to make the roster, so I expect all three Wolverines to make the team. The only downside is that they will miss the GLI.

a big surprise that Boo Nieves didn't make it and same with Mike McCarron, who was committed to Western before going to the O. I think Compher and Copp are locks, and Motte is on the bubble...that being said, if Motte has a good camp, he'll be on the team too. Could be a rough GLI.

Have you guys watched this year? Not condescending, just wondering. Boo has struggled a ton, quite frankly he hasn't been very good so far. He's a fantastic player who will be very successfuly in hockey, but so far this year he hasn't played near his potential. I think he'll pick it up sooner rather than later, but doubtfully in time for WJC anyway.

Nieves hasn't shown enough this year or in camp last year to win a spot over O'Regan, Shore or Eichel.
The other centers on the roster are more versatile, whether it's killing penalties or playing on the wing. With his skill set, there's no room for him.

has 1 goal against RIT this year, hardly a strong first half impression. His strength is offense, but he hasn't created this year and improved his game. I don't even think he was on the bubble to make the list.
