2023 Football Go Blue Ticket pack sale dates just sent out
Just received an email from the athletic department that ticket packs go on sale starting next Tuesday (6/13).
"Go Blue" ticket pack features OSU + one of ECU/BGSU/UNLV + one of Purdue/Indiana/Rutgers, starting at $300 depending on seat location and game selection.
Seems like a pretty great deal, even just for the OSU game and you had to eat the other 2. Sale starts Tuesday for those with 200+ priority points.
Think there will be any availability by the time its open to the general public the following Saturday (6/17)?
That is a great deal.
It is a good deal. consider:
- non-con beatdown so you can dream about how good your team is going to be
- at least 2 of the 3 throwaway B1G options have put up pretty good game against us at home once in the last five years.
- OSU is going to be one of the top games in CFB this year, providing neither dick trip before thanksgiving.
What's not to like?
Too good of a deal for the Bucknut who wants to attend one of the games and eat the other two. The Athletic Department needs to do a better job of ensuring that these tickets go to the fans who will show up and want Michigan to win.
no smack talking by me, but if the present trend continues i'd bet there are a lot less ohio folks considering coming to AA. thus, a lot fewer ohio folks buying that ticket. if we win this year, a distinct possibility from 5 1/2 months away, there will be cats and dogs living together in columbus, human sacrifices, and a guy born on 3rd base who is going to be unemployed despite being a very good coach and what sounds like a pretty decent human being (hair club for men, notwithstanding....).
I'm not sure how good a deal it would be for an OSU fan. How high do you think the OSU game ticket price could go for that cheapest $300 package seat? $350 if they are both undefeated?
I guess if you resold the other two games maybe you could get $25-50 per ticket back, but I am not sure it is worth the trouble given the potential price of the ticket could be much lower if one team loses a game or two.
After what's transpired the last two years, I don't think we have to worry too much about OSU fans taking over our stadium.
300 per 3 pack of tickets?
So you could get the season opener (ECU), Homecoming (Rutgers), and OSU. That is a pretty good deal. Especially with the season opener on Peacock that would be the combination that I think would be best.
Hmm do I buy a ticket pack or save for post season tickets/travel....I think I'll do both.
0% chance these are available Saturday. I can't remember the last time an Ohio State ticket was available on the public day.
I would expect these ticket packs to go very quickly. The OSU ticket itself will go for over $300.
I'd venture to guess that this will be the least red Game at the Big House in quite some time for a few reasons:
-I don't have a way of quantifying this in any way, but when I looked at seats available when I renewed my season tickets, there were substantially fewer available seats than I can ever recall when renewing my season tickets. That leads me to believe that more season tickets have been purchased this year, meaning fewer available tickets for ticket packs (less supply).
-I'd also venture to guess demand for ticket packs will be higher this year than in years' past given the team's recent success (less supply).
-I'd also wager a certain percentage of bucknuts won't be eager to repeat the experience of two years ago, so the demand for buckeyes buying ticket packs will be lower than in years past (less demand).
If the number of buckeyes coming up to the Big House is governed by the market, and they're being pinched by both supply side forces and demand side forces, I'd bet on less red in Big House for the Game. A glorious site it will be.
I agree with you. But, the amount of red in the stadium could also be determined by how each team’s season plays out.
