I downloaded a roster, he was a redshirt junior. However, he chose to leave after that year and you cannot talk players into staying in this years game (without paying for it as far as I can tell). Transfers or declaring- they are gone. I lost norfleet and chesson as well. BS

Correct. It was mentioned in Seth's or Ace's review about the "pop up" type ads in the game to get you to buy certain attributes to develop players. Just so happens this is another area. I am not going to buy anything more. So I guess, make sure to spread the ball around to guys. I use alot of 5 wide, and I usually have about 3 main guys I like to use. Now( I will probably substitute more frequently and get at least 6 guys involved per game receiving. Will probably be getting 3 backs in every game as well.

I remember watching this game at a friend's parent's house while on vacation in the U.P.

I was a wreck as it went into overtime.

I was a wreck as well, mostly because the game should have never gone to overtime.  Could have taken the lead for good if A-Train hadn't fumbled the ball away at the 1-yard line in the fourth quarter.  Then Hayden Epstein gets a chip shot field goal blocked at the end of regulation.  Bama missing the PAT felt like well deserved karma after dodging all those other bullets.

Gotta love those Michigan special teams. Here, let's put Troy Woolfolk out in kickoff coverage. And while we're at it Wile and Gibbons can platoon based on the length of the FG. (OK, that last one worked out decently.)

After a great come from behind victory here in Miami--engineered by the "comeback kid", Tom Brady-- the announcer asked Lloyd to comment on the graduating seniors that came back so many times.  Lloyd smiled, noted the number of near heart attacks he had, and said

"yea, I'll be glad to get rid of 'em."

This now counts as the second time in my life that I have taken to drink during the 2000 Orange Bowl. I watched it at a bowl party in Ann Arbor actually, and by the start of the 3rd quarter, I am pretty sure I had a whole sofa to myself. Loved the comeback though, and it is no less entertaining some 13 yeas later.

As for drinking, this time, it is Angry Orchard Cider on a very beautiful summer day here in southeast Michigan.

Great performance by David Terrell, of course - 10 receptions for 150 yards and 3 TDs, all of which matched or exceeded his career single-game bests, I believe. I want to say the rushing leaders in that game were Anthony Thomas and, of all people, Drew Henson, who contributed about 10 yards of his own (I don't have the box score in front of me). Interestingly, we ran quite a few more plays than Alabama - almost 15 more, if I remember my count right.

I was at that game. A couple items of note ... First, nobody from Alabama could explain to me the significance of the elephant and roll tide. I was just a kid - 16 or 17 - and got a lot of drunk hicks giving me crap when I asked the simple question: "Why is your mascot an elephant and what is the relation to roll tide?" Most told me it was because we were going to get stomped like an elephant would. I also got a story from an old man about elephants stampeding people so their main color was crimson, like blood. Second, the biggest pocket of Michigan fans was so far in the nosebleeds on the end with the miser extra point that you couldn't even tell. I only knew from the roar that something amazing had happened. Third, I was so proud of Brady - he stuck it out with Henson and was rewarded in that game with the chance to bring the team back from 14 points down to tie twice. What a game by that guy.
