God do I love rooting against any team in the SEC.  During bowl season nothing in college football outside of a Michigan win makes me as happy as an SEC loss.  Yesterday Finnebaum went off on Harbaugh, Michigan and Michigan fans on Mike & Mike and all I could think of was how fun it wouldve been to watch him during the Arkansas implosion.

I bet TCU -3 and Nebraska +10 in a parlay today so hopefully I can profit from their misery.

You are looking in the wrong direction for your explanation. It isn't that Michigan has cost him money, it's that Michigan is making him money. He was just some irrelevant turd who had a radio show in SEC land, where the lowest of the low could call in and talk. Suddenly he saw an opportunity to grab onto the coattails of Harbaugh and Michigan, in turn getting swept up in the media frenzy. Now he is a household name as "the guy who calls out Harbaugh and Michigan fans."

1. Harbaugh is a loon.  He's not that great of a coach and his shtick is getting old.

2. Michigan fans are delusional and live in a make believe world where we think we actually deservied to be included in the final four.

3. Michigan football has won 1/2 of a National Championship in the last 70 years yet they act like they're Alabama, OSU, USC, Penn State and Nebraska all rolled up into one.

He HATES us.

was odd. There have been times where I have actually taken his rants about Michigan to be kind of playful. This was not. It was somewhat unprompted, uncomfortably long, irrational, and seemingly personal. I really don't get what his problem is. I don't think there is one Michigan fan I know who would argue that we should be in the Playoff with the Iowa and OSU loss. He is ranting against a figment of his imagination.

The  satellite camps REALLY set him off.  The idea that us northerners would have the temerity to invade the south AGAIN was the catalyst that put him on a southern-fried jihad against all things Harbaugh & Michigan.

When Finebaum thinks of Harbaugh he sees this guy I think....

Image result for the south shall rise again and we shall defeat them again george sherman

Actually if somebody photshopped Harbaugh's face on this pic that would be t-shirt I would definitely wear.

Finebaum is a turd but any fan who believes we deserve to be in the playoff this year is delusional and Michigan has only won one championship in the last 70 years but compare ourselves to teams that have won multiple championships in the same era as if we have been equally successful.

Michigan fans treat consitent 10 wins seasons as equivalent to championships and its makes us sound delusional.

I put them in lower case on purpose.  finebaum is slimy like saban.  saban f*cks him in the a$$ for his opinions on the BIG.  If i ever see him i will put his dumbo ass ears where they should be.

The really crappy Bowls are now playing on New Year's Day, or after (to cash in on the lull between the Playoff games and NCG).  That's how you get Shenandoa A&T vs Watsamatta U in the Jimmy Bob's Bail Bonds Bowl of West Pennsyltucky on January 1st.

Didn't even know that South Alabama was an FBS team, let alone in a bowl. The number of mediocre bowl games has really exploded. I think we're at what, like 60% of teams make bowls now?

Those of us who are old remember South Alabama for beating 6th seeded Alabama in the 1st round of the 1989 NCAA tournament and then getting bombed by Glen Rice and Terry Mills during the 2nd round as we advanced on our way to the national championship.

It's a brand new bowl.

I believe last year was the first year...

...with all of the new FBS teams, no one is going down to FCS. So more teams means you need more bowls.

Arizona Bowl came along and the Cure Bowl in Orlando is also new.

As for this one...basically it exists for streaming purposes. You're supposed to watch it on a mobile device. They're trying to capitalize off of the increase in mobile views...just like how the NFL did a game that was only broadcast on Yahoo.com

Stupid, I know.

Does it irritate anyone else that when a replay is about to happen the officials always wait until the snap of the next play even when everyone in the building knows it is going to be replayed? I am of course speaking about the Georgia-TCU game and specifically the replay of whether there was a forward pass or not.

Those SEC commercials need to change the slogan slightly:

"The SEC: It just means more to everyone else when we lose"

That way, the campaign is built around a true statement.
