Got some pretty frank quotes out of Gardner. Is it me, or is he talking in maybe not the highest terms about Borges? My thoughts on the article were generally "gaaahhhhal;djfoeiBORGESjfaldjjflaev" or something along those lines. Oh well. It's in the past as they say.

Did anyone ever ask Hoke or Borges about why they did the same look on the 2-pt conversio attempt and what did they say? I mean, I know we wouldn't have gotten any kind of substantive answer but was the question at least asked?

Would've loved to see what Harbaugh could've done with him. He had so much potential that was just completely wasted.

From the comments (ref. 2014 game):

"Michigan was right there with us up until JT went out and Cardale came in. Coaching from Hoke and no headset, etc. overshadows the fact that Nussmeire (sic) had his offense ready to roll on us. Because we ended up winning in the last few minutes by two touchdowns, everyone seems to think we handled Michigan easily throughout that game.

I would suggest you go back and watch it again. it was not an easy game. We did not "own" them. And I do not believe we will "own" them again this year, unless Rudock continues to be the interception king. It's in Ann Arbor and the hatred and desire to take us down is really heavy up here.

I 've been down the road of us being ranked #1 preseason over the years and it normally doesn't end in the fairy tale. I really hope this year is the exception, but I'm am steeling myself for a possible disappointing game."

The rest of us up North should steel ourselves for the win!
