From great, to good. Is Urban Meyer losing prestige? Why the Buckeyes need to win the Big Ten.

You're outside your mind. Unless we grab Harbaugh, there's no way Michigan wins a Big Ten Title before Meyer does. And even with Harbaugh we never really know. We've got to clean up our dumpster fire first before we can even start remotely thinking about Big Ten titles.
I don't think people are really going to be complaining too much about Meyer if he can't win a conference title this year. They would've won it easily in 2012, lost a tough game last year to what is arguably the best team MSU has ever had, and have gotten honestly the worst luck with its QBs this year in terms of injuries. And yet, there they are in the title game for what should be the 3rd year in a row.
Meyer won't need a win tonight to legitimize himself. He's down to playing with a 3rd string QB after both of his starters have gone down with injuries. Both of whom have set multiple records at OSU. If Miller or Barrett were playing tonight and they lost, he'd probably get some flak about whether or not he'll ever get back to the level he was at with Florida. But I think unless they get blown out by Wisconsin tonight, I think he gets a free pass with whatever happens.

The smokescreen shot with Brady got old. Just say what it is and move on.
I don't see urban Meyer going anywhere anytime soon. Who's better than him for Ohio? Has he even lost a freekin' regular season conference game yet???

But hey, if it means they fire Urb, great.

Most OSU fans think Urban is playing with house money this year due to Braxton's injury.

the wrongest analysis I have ever seen on this Board. And I'd say this even without OSU being up on Wiscy 45-0 in the 3rd quarter.

...I'd say crushing a highly ranked opponent 59-0 with a third string QB probably bolstered his "prestige" somewhat.

LOLLLLLLLLLL

I posted earlier that Urban Meyer just had a few bad breaks at his tenure at OSU... looks like I was right.
It's OSU and everyone else in the B1G. Not even close...
I was kind enough in the first post, but here's what I really think of your analysis.
It's fucking stupid, and you should feel stupid for even writing such a stupid thing.
Wake me up when we hire Greg Schiano for some fucking dumb reason b/c I got season tickets to cancel.
Harbaugh/Stoops would be a godsend, but Michigan hasn't had that type of luck since 2003. Meanwhile in Columbus, Urban Meyer falls into OSU's lap.
Fuck everything.

I wanted OSU to lose but it does make us our performance at the horseshoe look even better. And, it brought home that Dantonio is no Meyer.
We need Harbaugh!

the worst thing written in the history of the English language, let alone sports blogging.
However, 59-0 and a berth in the playoffs should soothe your concern over poor Urbz somewhat. Aaaaaaaaaand of course that strengthens further a recruiting advantage that he has over every other school in the damned conference since his health miraculously improved to the point of his feeling up to the challenge of taking the job in C-bus, as well.
Good lord, man.

Two national title rings... He must suck. /s
He didn't need to paste Wisky for me to think Ohio State hit a massive home-run with Urban Meyer. There are a couple of bucks here in graduate school with me and they are literally the happiest I have seen them since their National Title run.
It just makes me want nice things...

Yeah... Urban Meyer sucks... tOSU just jumped Baylor to get in the CFP.

All I can say is that performance by the Buckeyes the other night, much as it pains me, is among the most remarkable things I've ever seen on a football field. A clinic. At full strength, that would have been impressive, but with a 3rd Stringer? Hat tip to you, Brutus. Credit where credit is due.
