WTKA Roundtable 3/25/2021: Feeding Them Lots of Bones
Things discussed:
- Vaccination Roundtable: somebody get Sam a shot!
- LSU: Taking Will Wade to the trash can. Has LSU never seen a basketball? All they do is Iso, as soon as the 2Pt floaters weren’t falling and they shut down their PG things looked fine.
- FSU: Very very tall. Big question is whether their 7-footer can take out Dickinson because they have the long athletic guards. It’s more Liam Robbins than Kofi Cockburn. FSU turns it over a lot and scores in transition with Scottie Barnes.
- Cheap fouls.
- FSU gives up threes, not two’s. Chaundee game again?
- Alabama talk just in case: Seth likes that you can stop them at the rim and they’ll keep coming anyway. More afraid of FSU than Bama, not because they’re a better team but because they’re a worse matchup.
- Women’s hoops: when they’re not just Naz they can beat anybody! Leigha Brown being a second banana puts Hailey Brown in the right role. Doing it with out Dilk!
- Big Ten, where you go? Lots of love for Krutwig.
- Hockey: bad draw.

Being retired, I have all this discretionary time on my hands. I tried to listen-such a waste of time...back and forth and back and forth...everyone getting their two cents in-saying nothing of value. Just put it in writing and eliminate the 90% that is worthless banter.
You're complaining about the back and forth? You wanted one guy to just lecture or what?

when at work I don't get to have sound on so being able to read what is said would be big.

Not saying it's perfect but isn't this the basic format for sports and talk radio for the past 100 years?

Is this your first time listening to sports radio? I mean, Sam and co. aren't really breaking the mold here.

Yeah, it's bog standard sports talk radio format. While I for the most part avoid it, it ain't exactly new.
My only complaint is that on the video Brian's background is boring. I can understand not using a virtual background as it can be resource intensive, but cumong man. Throw up a poster or a jersey or something!

Hate to say it, but for several years I have been thinking that WBB would be better without Dilk at PG. Unfortunately, she is a turnover machine, most of them easily avoidable, and doesn't get the offense flowing like it should. Perhaps this tourney I am being proven right.

Always a fun listen.
Fatts is a sub 6 foot guy that shoots sub 30% from 3,I don't think I could have a harder pass. You will also struggle to recruit well if you constantly bring in transfers over guys. Like if they bring in two transfer guards Zeb is probably gone.
