Trevor Keegan to Return Comment Count

Blake Corum is getting one of his favorite blockers back.

One of our favorites too, and we're not alone since he was 1st team all-B10 this year. Over the last two years Keegan's been a consistently excellent mover of men, a fount of +1s on doubles with Olu this year, and one of the team's favorite pivot men on their power-mad line last year. Both of these lines won the Joe Moore Award.

Keegan's return may be interpreted as a further proof of concept for the Valiant group's new One More Year Fund, which also probably played a role in retaining Blake Corum.

With left tackle Ryan Hayes joining Rimington and Outland winner Olu Oluwatimi in the NFL, getting back Keegan was a key point of continuity from those two lines. They have two guys who started for them at right tackle, Karsen Barnhart and Trente Jones back, and added two of the best OL in the Pac-12 last year in ASU G/T LaDarius Henderson and Stanford C Drake Nugent, as well as former 5-star Myles Hinton. Michigan awaits word from Zak Zinter on whether they'll have the best guard tandem in the country back or just half of it.

There is no content after the jump because as I'm writing this there's 3 minutes left of basketball. Woo!!!

Excellent news! It seems like the biggest question marks for next season are: 1) Will Michigan have a new head coach? and 2) Who will play corner opposite Will Johnson?

A freshman corner from Georgia entered the portal today. Jaheim Singletary was a 5 star that Michigan offered after he decommited from Ohio State in the 2022 cycle. He landed at Georgia and is leaving after one year. I wonder if Clink can work some magic?

Such awesome news. Zinter, Keegan, and the addition of Olu this year have fueled the team's success the past two years.

If Seth and Brian are making "The Judges" Fatheads for the DTs, I nominate Zinter and Keegan for a Blues Brothers Fathead. C'mon, Zak: we're putting the band back together!
