It's time for another classic hoops stream (John Beilein and BTN took care of things last night), and for this one we're going to take it back to the Fab Five's first Final Four run.

After getting past Oklahoma State in the Sweet Sixteen, six-seed Michigan and their five freshman starters faced off against one-seed Ohio State, which had won both regular-season meetings by double digits. The Buckeyes were led by Jim Jackson, the two-time Big Ten player of the year who'd go fourth overall in the following NBA Draft, and three other future NBA players. The Fab Five's remarkable run looked like it'd end in Rupp Arena.

Join us here or at my Twitch page at 8 pm ET to watch the 1992 Southeast Regional Final with our commentary.

This one's new to me; in fact, I've never seen a Fab Five game in its entirety before. Whether you're like me or these players formed the basis of your basketball fandom, this should be a good time.

I remember when we had the kind of athlete who could dunk from under the basket. But so many turnovers! Things were chaotic back then. At least they got Jim Jackson to turn it over a bunch, too.

Catching up to this post late, and maybe repeating what others said at the time, I thought that Billy Packer's comment that Michigan should foul at the end of the game reflected that he assumed Ohio State was going to score anyway — they were the #1 seed, had just scored 11 in a row, and were presumably more seasoned the UM's young team — so MIchigan needed to get the ball back to try to score themselves.

Also: after the joys of Beilein as a coach, it's remarkable to see less focus on ball security and fewer screens.
