You know what it is. Stream starts at 8 pm ET. You can watch the embed below or head over to twitch.tv/mgoace to participate in the live chat. We're going to attempt to have Brian join me on the commentary again tonight. If we run into technical issues, I'll go solo for the duration.

I still have no idea how this worked out.

Probably my favorite Michigan sports picture. I tracked down a Kansas photographer who took similar a shot from a slightly different angle. He sent me the link to purchase a high res version that I had blown up.

A near second favorite was the Brendan Gibbons field goal at the end of regulation of the Northwestern game. Given what we subsequently learned, that photo is buried somewhere in a closet.

Living in Houston, was able to go up to Dallas for that weekend.  Took my wife (from upstate NY and have converted her to a UM fan) to her first 2 UM Basketball games.  She is in the maize shirt under the section where people are standing in the third tier (straight left of the 6.0).  We were in a sea of Kansas fans (and actually crowd felt like 60+ % KU fans and the rest being UM, UF and FGCU fans).  One of the things that hit me was how loud the place was from before tipoff to about 2 minutes to go in regulation and then how quickly it went almost deathly quiet at points as everyone was not expecting UM to come back and win, let alone force overtime.

We stayed for the Sunday game and actually got great seats at midcourt about 15 rows off the floor for a song (THANK YOU to the KU fan that sold his tickets).  In another way, that game was just as great watching Stauskas go 6-6 on his 3's.  By the 3rd one, as soon as he left his feet for a shot all the UM fans were already standing up with his jump celebrating the 3.

Personally, not a big fan of a basketball game in a place that large, but that weekend will always be memorable for me.  Almost as much as being able to go see the all Maize uniforms against UF (love beating the crap out of UF in that arena in all sports).

As a fellow Houstonian since 2009 (moved down GVSU grad school commencement weekend) I echo those sentiments, traveling to Jerrah's Death Star in 2013 and for the Florida game Labor Day weekend 2017.

We (mgogf and myself) were actually flooded out of our apartment complex (right along Buffalo Bayou) from Harvey once they released the Barker and Addicks levies - the day after the rain had finally stopped - and ended up wading out chest deep about 3/4 mile to higher ground and had a buddy pick us up around 11am that Wednesday (boat and air evacs began that afternoon)... I could only carry a backpack high on my shoulders and 1 hand with pressed dry cleaning - my new pressed Jumpman #4 jersey for the game.  We had a great weekend up in  Arlington and was able to procure a rental (750,000+ backlog in Houston area from the prior week demand) in Dallas to drive back.  It was great to get away from that scene/optics for a few days...

Moving back to Michigan (Grand Haven, west side, specifically) from west Houston in May - if the social distancceptable quarantine lifts prior, let's grab a beer and reminisce.
