Semi-OT: QB Tom Savage picks Arizona
We weren't really in the race. I'm not even sure we wanted to be in it. Tom going out West probably makes Rutgers happy. They did NOT want him going to the state of Florida.
I remember watching him as a Freshman and he looked like a great prospect. Here's to hoping that Tom can "Savage" his career.

Not really a loss here. We have three scholarship QB's and a shot at landing a big time prospect next year. With the depth chart crowded up front, he had no reason to transfer here; word was he wanted more playing time.

I too watched Savage's games and I was excited with his poise as a freshman. I know RU's O-line was terrible last year but he didn't look good either. I hear he didn't want to fight Dodd for the job this year but who knows. With Cignetti coming in with a pro style O I think he should have stayed and cowboyed up. System wise it fits him better than Arizona"s spread. Dodd will do a decent job. But they really need some miracles on that O line.
