While I did +1 you, you did manage to end your comment with "Go Blue". I, on the other hand, have carefully added this sentence to avoid that problem and waste the reader's time.

Spartans are the only ones who came up with this and decided it was important.

The whole instate winner meme is nothing more than a way for Sparty to feel they can compare to the big brother. Pointless topic indeed.

Why does everything good always attract those of the Mlive mindset eventually?

Everything bad does too. That's why the voting buttons need to be activated as soon as possible.

Neg-banging someone just isn't the same when it isn't possible to wrap them in a carpet and airmail them to La Paz.

I want to add useless stuff to the board too.
This will do the job.

The OP is apparently too stupid to actually add the link .
Relevant Portion: BATTLE FOR MICHIGAN
The Winner: Michigan
This has been an interesting battle since the beginning. At first it looked like Michigan State would run away with things landing the state's top player in Lawrence Thomas and leading early for DeAnthony Arnett while Michigan struggled. However, the Wolverines have done better in state overall despite the firing of Rich Rodriguez and the failed attempts to lure Jim Harbaugh and Les Miles before hiring Brady Hoke. Although they lost out on Anthony Zettel in a surprise (to Penn State), they swayed Justice Hayes away from Notre Dame, pulled Raymon Taylor from Indiana and landed Brennen Beyer. Meanwhile, Arnett bolted for Tennessee and the Spartans missed out on any other four-star prospects in state aside from Thomas. - Mike Farrell

I'm glad that our in-state class is better - but that should be expected.

this thread is really weak but some of the comments have atleast made me laugh. question how do we +1 comments on here or is it still down since the malware distater?
January 30th, 2011 at 1:00 AM ^
You couldn't have +1 or -1 anyways before the malware disaster because you have <100 points. As of this point people with >100 points can use the + or - features but it doesn't affect the point totals.

know if Rivals has more accurate data than Scout? I prefer scout. I dont know why, just a hunch. I think Rivals is sophmorish to say the least. Scourt seems to have a better handle on things. Just my opinion.
