There's the old argument that instate kids play harder for their school that I just don't buy. Is Devin gonna play harder than Denard when he gets his shot? I think RR is recruiting players based on how they "fit" and how they play with maybe a slight bump for instate kids if all else is equal.
That being said, I hope Desmond Clinton-Dix is still keeping us in mind.

lovely, just lovely. Does that warrant a dismissal from the mgoboard (kidding, kidding). Maybe he is saying that if Denard was from Michigan and named Desmond we would like him even more!

has been high on Morgan for a while now. He's been rated a high 3*(78 rating) and the #24 ILB for at least a few months. I know ESPN is considered a less than desirable football recruiting service, but I must say that recently they've gained some credibility with me.

rivals, are hardly perfect. In this case, as with the case, with Shawn Conway, the coaches were way ahead of the recruiting sites. As for the "Michigan preference" debate, it is important to recuit hard in your home state, but only because you often have a natural advantage against other schools. But preference, no way.
