Is anyone else concerned about the long term health of Cam Gordon? I love the he brings the wood but he has to use discretion or he may have some cognitive issues later in life.

I'd be more worried about the people receiving the hits

Why? Half the time they don't even go down.

I don't care if he's bringing them down (well I do, it's just not relevant right now), the initial hits he puts on some of those guys would be enough to knock me senseless, even if they don't end up on the turf.

He needs to wrap up defenders, not just go for the big stick every time.
That will solve both the not-going-down problem and the risk to his own health.

was too many guys trying to tackle the ball and strip it instead of tackling the guy first. I am all for trying to create turnovers, but you have to recognize when the opportunity is there and go for it then. OK, if you are lucky, you will strip the ball from a guy, once in a blue moon. But it is not worth the cost of giving up 5 or 6 yards yards on every attempt as you consistantly try to strip the ball away from the defender. More fumbles are caused by putting your helmet on the ball during a violent tackle, then waltzing with a ball carrier down the field as you try and strip it from him.....

WOw...go to the play 1:28. Should have been a interception FOR SURE.

Interception or decapitation. Somehow he managed to do neither.

It could have been both as well. There were 3 players there, cam could have decapitated the receiver and one of the other two could have gotten the interception.
Why couldn't at least one of them happen ....

It definitely should have been broken up. An INT would have been tougher, but doable.

look like they are capable of tackling an opposing player if he was running at them in hallway let alone on a football field. On one of Baker's receptions Obi literally has him wrapped up and he just runs right through it. FML.

I don't think I'll be watching this one. I used to be a masochist, but I'm trying to quit.

If you watch that video they had Kovacs up at the line of scrimmage most of the time either blitzing in or dropping back? is that a blitz or a designed coverage?
I also thought they were in a 4 man front more than the 3 man front, and 8 man box alot.
so how can we call and complain about it being a 3-3-5?
Having Kovacs up there takes him out of safety , leaving more one on one? and also if they break a big run , which they did at least 4 times hes not there for last man in line.
to me they tried something different and it didnt work...bend dont break doesnt work but they at least dont give up the long runs and throws.
