Then I wouldn't have to hear these damn Sparty fans talk about going 12-0. Please, please, please, Sparty fan, try to focus on beating Illinois this weekend first.

I was actually lucky enough to have an extra week of vacation to burn before the end of the year, so here I am! Of course I was left a honey-do list as well, which I plan on doing none of. As of 9 am monday morning, I think I may just spend the week being the most unproductive human being alive. Is it too early to start drinking?

It is never to early to start drinking.
I wish I had the day off.

yay! lets celebrate a guy who got absolutely lost and then when he lucked out in the Caribbean raped and pillaged an entire civilization all in the name of spreading the good word of the Lord. but hey some people still question why we celebrate MLK Day.

The REAL Columbus Day is tomorrow, which happens to be my birthday. It's celebrated on the second Monday each October, though. Just another excuse for those lazy ass bankers. I was gonna deposit some money today too, so thanks for the reminder.
I live in Columbus now, and I can assure you that there is no such thing as a happy Columbus Day.
Cool story, bros?

What I find most offensive is that this is the guy that Columbus, Ohio is named for.

I have a hard time celebrating anything with "Columbus" in it.

Happy Columbus Day! Celebrate by committing a secondary NCAA violation and self-reporting it!

I rather celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving. Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving!

I don't think happy and Columbus should be allowed in the same thread title. Next Monday will be happy AA day after beating Iowa though.

Hooray for government labor! I am also one of the lucky few that works for a municipality that is required to observe all Federal holidays, so yes I have the day off. Now, to me, the outrage is that Amerigo Vespucci does not have his own holiday, for he is more deserving.

I work for a city and unfortunately I do not get the day off. I would much rather be home today catching up on sports highlights, the blog, or sleeping in. Instead I will be outside in the cold rain all day.

I don't work but I did make the executive decision not to go to class today in honor of Mr. Columbus. I also didn't want to hear sparties talking about the game and how they own michigan and rabble, rabble, derp. It seemed to be in my best interest of not attending class.
