Denard on Yahoo Front Page
Headline: "College Football's Most Exciting Player?"
Is the question mark really necessary?
Story links to this rivals article which has probably already been posted but a quick search didn't show it.

I love all of this positive publicity. It's only going to help with recruiting, which is never a bad thing. Denard as a person really deserves all these superlatives that have flown his way the past couple of weeks, but like the true humble warrior he is, he doesn't care about anything outside of his family, his team, and his university. Keep up the amazing work Denard.

...but this:
Just give the ball to the fastest and most athletic person -- and stand back and watch him run.
really does not give credit where it is deserved. Denard got some great blocks from his lineman and wideouts. I know DRob always gives them credit, but it would be nice to see that in an article too.
Again I am being nit-picky, but I have been so impressed with the WR blocking thus far, and you can always see the frustration anytime someone doesn't hold their block quite long enough.

doesn't sell ads or get clicks, the media ignores unselfish players and flocks to "me first" players.

Love this gem from Albom's freep article.
Face it. Right now, this is an incomplete team — with one spectacular player.
Way to give credit to the OL, RB's and WR who are leading the way for DRob. Is the defense incomplete? Sure. But it's annoying that he just lumps the whole team as "incomplete". Hard to call an offense incomplete when they put up 532 yards on the road against a quality opponent.

F Mitch Albom. ( I didn't read his article, but I don't agree with the quote)
This is my Michigan team of 2010, that I undyingly support. Let the faithless call them what they will, but in my eyes they are all a group of WINNERS!!
They are a bunch of young kids who have overcome adversity to beat two good teams - at home and on the road in a venue filled with history (which the TEAM just help re-write). I love 'em all - flaws and all.
These young men have desire, they have heart, they have the perfect TEAM mentality and they have each other's backs. That is a @#$%^&* GREAT FOUNDATION to build a solid team around - which is exactly what Rich and his coaching staff are doing right now.
People better watch out this year - and every year after this one -
For this week, bring on UMass!
