OT: the boy who cried retirement.
We all saw it coming but brett farve has done it again. He says that the text messages sent to vikings players saying he was retiring were not sent by him, and he plans on playing this season if his ankle is fully healed, but now we have to wait until he goes to the doctor to find out.

The thing is he is not a boy, he is a 40 year old man. Or should I say a 40 year old joke?

How do I make it so that it doesn't mess up like that?

You had it left aligned in float. I deleted the last part of your html image coding.

Why do people worry about Brett Favre so much? If he plays great... if he doesn't whatever. I'm not sure why we blame Brett. It's the media that has to report every bit of news like its the end all be all. If your worried that Favre is playing you then stop listening to him and just wait till the beginning of the season to see if he straps on the pads.

... is that if I stop paying attention he will show up at my door just to make sure I know he is still important and has not yet decided whether or not to come back.
or this could happen:

I'm so sick of all the attention that Brett Favre is getting . . . that I think I'll start a message board thread about him.

Thank you! My thoughts exactly. Someone had to say it...

what did jen sterger have to say on the topic?
August 5th, 2010 at 12:10 AM ^
let me get this straight:
unsubstantiated rumors of Favre being done are reported. Childress and other Vikings say they haven't heard anything. Favre is an attention whore, though, for refuting these rumors.
so what he should have done, to avoid the ire of the OP, is said nothing?
it's self-perpetuating bs. until he pulls an on-tv "i'm done" and goes back on it, i don't see anything he's done wrong yet.

Brett Favre has become the Michael Jackson of the NFL. It's ridiculous, and if they didn't talk about it nonstop it would beentirely entertaining.
Not until he moon walks toward the huddle.
I'd pay good money to see that
I think Favre just felt slighted by the attention Lebron James got, and he's going to hold a one hour special on ESPN called "The More Important Decision", where he shall announce his intentions.
Hopefully he doesn't decide to bring his talents to South Beach. They already have a stellar QB thank you very much!
Chad's already got parents. He doesn't need another mother Henne.
He just wanted to boost the economy down in Hattiesburg MS. He was in the local barber shop/dinner and they asked him to stir the shit up to get the press corps all worked up...and yep it worked again.
