OT - MGoBoard made Embassy Suites computers insult me
It was my Grandmother's 80th birthday this weekend. As such, she wanted to do something special so we all went up and stayed overnight at the Embassy Suites in Troy, had dinner at EastSide Marios, which is a story in itself, and had breakfast at the nice buffet in the hotel.
Anyhow, while I'm there, I figure I'll get on a computer from their business area and check MGoBlog. I click on a thread on the board, and I am greeted by an error message. Apparently, the web blocking software doesn't like something on that thread. However, the error message is very poorly worded, and needs some extra punctuation. It's trying to tell me there's a blocked word on that page, but instead I get this message:
Webpage Blocked pussy.
So thanks a lot, MGoBoard. Now I have to kick embassy suites - Troy network's butt just to get a little respect!
... it's probably because of this:
http://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/ot-tom-izzo-sarah-bernhardt
Or it required a retinal scan at sign-on and determined that you were one...
That's why it struck me so oddly. Clearly, the program was not written by an M graduate.
And they asked if I would move over to the Hilton Garden Inn (outside of DTW) because they were over-booked because of an AC malfunction. They said that they'd refund my room and give me 60 bucks and free breakfast at the other hotel (since they are both Hilton hotels I figured this would be fine).
Come to find out today that my room has not been refunded and that they somehow charged me 25 dollars for something at Embassy (even though I stayed at Hilton) which just so happens to be the amount of the breakfast.
Needless to say they will be getting a nasty call from me later today.
In sum: Embassy Suites donkey balls.
